Services provided through the local health unit include: CLINICAL SERVICES (Infectious Disease Control & Prevention, Immunizations, Breast Care, WIC, Women's Health); IN-HOME SERVICES (Home Health, Personal Care, Hospice, Maternal/Infant, and Community based Case Management for the Elderly); ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: (Food, On-site Wastewater/Permits, Pool & Swim Beach Safety, Food permits/license); COMMUNITY SERVICES: (Work to improve the health of citizens by promoting healthy behaviors and providing assistance with the development of health services and systems of care; work with organizations to coordinate rural health resources and activities throughout the county)
