Mindfully Aware Therapy is informed by the fields of Attachment Theory, Mindful Awareness, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, EMDR and DBT. I have had the great privilege of studying with many of the leaders in these fields including Dr. Daniel J. Siegel, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Jack Kornfield, Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk and Laurel Parnell. It would be an honor for me to share what I have learned with you.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I provide psychotherapy to adults, couples, parents, families and adolescents. My approach can help with many issues including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts of all types, panic attacks, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, transitions, divorce, life changes, custody and parenting. I also have a special interest in working with all aspects of adoption.
