My first time ever @ Salon 300 West and I am IN LOVE with my hair. The welcoming environment as you walk in the door is the perfect way to start an amazing hair appointment! My stylist today was Yah’na and with the work that she did with my hair I will probably never let anyone else do my hair. I’m so satisfied with her professionalism and knowledge. I had a million questions on how to maintain and take care of the blonde balayage/highlights she was giving me and she answered them perfectly. I was very nervous walking in because I’m not from the area, I traveled 1.5 hours away to have my hair done and I do not regret it 1 bit. Before and after pictures below! I started seeing Jada Jo when she was in hair school at Alexander Paul. She was always so willing to try something new on my hair and would always make sure to give recommendations that she felt would suit me best. When she graduated, I knew I had to follow her to Salon 300 West because there is no one else I would trust to do my hair. She not only does exceptional work, but her prices are also reasonable and it is always a joy to talk to her. I can honestly say I have never had a better experience than when I am with her! I got my haircut by Jada Jo and she did the best job!! She listened to what I wanted, and continually checked during the haircut that I was ok with the length and style!! I’m very unhappy with how my hair color came out, I got the complete opposite of what I asked for as well as stylist not returning any of my messages. Certain stylists & maybe the owner as well should be trained on professionalism. Salon doesn’t have a set professional playlist of songs. Doves In The Wind by SZA blaring through the main floor while getting hair shampooed which was not my stylist fault, another stylist played it.

Spent $195 on a balayage that did not turn out the way I wanted and hair dye spilled all over my brand new sweatshirt. Hairstylist Brittney would not compensate me for my sweatshirt, and I went back a second time and balayage was way darker as she just put more dark toner on oposite of what I wanted she offered me to keep coming back but I didn't have time as a student and didn't want her touching it again. I had never gotten my hair colored or anything and it was a HORRIBLE experience.
