Jennifer Older is a 20-year hair/beauty industry veteran who spent the majority of her career working and educating other beautify professionals in the New York City metro area. She brings her sense of East Coast fashion and Florida cool together to provide her clients (women, men and children) with the perfect combination of stunning and versatile cuts, colors, blowouts, facial waxing, and make-up. Whether you prefer styles that are classic and timeless, trendy, high fashion, or edgy, Salon J13 is the best place to be for both ladies and gents. Jennifer will turn your hair, makeup, beard, or moustache into a masterpiece that best fits your desired look, your style, and your life. Jennifer began her career working for barbers and salons in the NYC metro area. She was then chosen to open and manage the NARS cosmetic counter at Saks Fifth Avenue. Word of Jennifer’s talent and skill traveled quickly and she managed to impress salon and beauty mega-company, Sebastian International. The company chose her to work as a travelling educator in New York City tri-state metro area, where she taught extensively in many salons, and was responsible for keeping them up to date with cutting edge styles, techniques, and products.
Jennifer eventually moved to Florida to be closer to her family and she spent years working in high-end salons in South Tampa, were she built a large and loyal client base in record time. She eventually took a hiatus from her career to raise her young daughter, but managed to remain up-to-date in the latest fashions, products, and techniques, while she continued to serve a much smaller number of clients.
Jennifer loves being a mom, but she couldn’t allow her passion and talent to take a backseat in her life forever. She was drawn to her calling once again and has opened Salon J13 to pursue her lifelong passion: helping clients become their most beautiful, handsome, and confident selves.
