I was unable to make an appointment and my hairstyle is going to charge me a $35 cancellation fee this is someone that has been doing my hair as well as my mother's hair before she passed away for years I was very hurt will never returnby the way my hair stylist name is Starla if you can't make a appointment even if you have an emergency you will still be charged.Service: Hairstyling
I went there and saw Kait Manfreda she did an amazing job with my hair, making a beautiful rainbow!
Libby Mastbaum was terrific. My long hair makes me nervous around scissors, and she was extremely careful to only take off what I was okay with. She did a lovely job layering and framing my face as well as being very pleasant to talk with. I plan to return and refer my other long hair loving friends to Libby as well.
Cheryl Landen is my stylist. Have been with her for 20+years. Today I received hi-lights and cut and feel ready to party. Sorry can't do the later due to covid but ready to enjoy dinner out on Christmas Eve. Thanks Cheryl for keeping me fit to be seen
Kerry Grise of Everlasting Make-Up is a true artist if you're looking for permanent brow, eye or lip definition. My eyebrows for the first time in years are full & look fantastic! I don't have to do anything to them & the color lasted 2 years! Trust her work!
I booked an appointment with Nicole knoblach and it's no wonder she has a 5 star rating on StyleSeat because she makes it so that anyone's hair that she does mess up cannot make a review on her business. I went there March 2017 my wedding is in July 2017 and I explained to her the importance of me having long hair for the wedding but I wanted to start going back blonde knowing that it is a process and it takes time I scheduled 2 or 3 appointments for the future as well. Trusting that she knew what she was doing after telling her I was okay with cutting about 1-1 1/2 inches off my hair. It was extremely long and healthy and she agreeded. She began to lighten my hair but while doing so she let it set to long because she was to worried about the text she was getting on her watch and she was incredibly slow at applying it And on top of that she used to high of a developer. I kid you not she left some parts of the bleach stay on my hair for over an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hair was falling out in clumps I was aftraid to even touch my hair I thought it was just going to all fall out. I had to call off work because it took me all night and into the next day just to even safely comb through it. She offered to help repair my hair but I couldn't commit to letting her touch it again and then when I agreeded to allow her to help she decided she didn't want to anymore I have spent over 500 dollars in repair products not including the items that thankfully Paul Mitchell had sent me because of her unprofessionalism. She had made several statement to me about she likes to just over process right away and then go through and do the repair process later that way her clients can be the color they want when they leave. I really wish I could post a before and after photo of the damages she caused to my hair. Needless to say I had to cut it all off and now I have super short hair. A little side note I went to cos school with Nicole so I know the correct way to do it, we use to friends long before this happened, she doesn't care about your hair go somewhere else!
Karen Kellermeier is a super friendly, welcoming professional who is obviously well versed on current techniques and product. I would highly recommend her to any person, her work with color will make you do a double-take. Amazing!
Back again. Mariah is the best!! Love my eyebrows every time.
Mariah is amazing. She is so thorough and always does my hair exactly like I like it!
**This review is for the Polished Boutique Nail Salon *within* the Salon Ventures.** Couldn't tell you how the service was, as I never got that far. Staff was rude and misleading. If you choose to go, here's the low-down. I purchased a Groupon and followed the instructions listed. It specifically said an appointment was necessary and named M. G. I left a message twice before receiving a return call and actually getting an appointment scheduled. When I spoke to M on the phone, she expressed confusion as to why her name was mentioned because, as she stated, she and her associates are the only ones there. She made my appointment for a Saturday at 1:30pm. I showed up at my appointment on time, entering the building and taking a seat in the waiting area just inside. There was no one there to sign me in, and no clear indication of what to do. The building said Salon Ventures on the front, and inside were lots of rooms with hair stylists working within. I sat for twenty minutes and watched as other customers were sought out by employees. At the end of this time, I tired of waiting and began to wander the building looking for someone who could help me. I asked an employee if there was someone named M there and she showed me to the room at the very back of the building. M asked if she could help me, and I replied that I had an appointment but no one had told me with whom. I gave my name and another woman spoke up that the appointment had been with her, but that it was for 1:30. I told her that I had been there on time, but had been waiting twenty minutes in the waiting area. She informed me that I should have come back to their “suite” number 9, as indicated by a little card by the door when I first arrived and that if I had read the Groupon, I would have known that. There was, she said, a big map when you first came in that said to come to your “suite”. There are apparently 38 businesses within the Salon Ventures building, not just M and her associates as I was at first told. She could not continue my appointment today, and I would need to reschedule. This was frustrating, as I have two children and need to arrange childcare in order to take time for appointments like this. On my way out, I looked for the “big map”. It is to the right of the waiting room. By the time you get that far in and realize there’s no one signing you in, it’s already out of view. But she was right—there was a little sticky note that said “Ck in w/your station”. So obviously intended for folks who’ve never been before. It couldn’t possibly be a note to anyone else. After I left, I reviewed my groupon voucher. I wish I’d pulled it out while still there. It says nothing about “suite 9”, except in the address. M did not inform me of these extra instructions on the phone, and I have never before encountered a business run this way. I am very unhappy at the way I was treated, as though any idiot should have known what I did not.
