The store has a verity of products from Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia. The carnicería always has fresh meet at conoetitive prices.
Oh so legit!! And house made tortillas!! So good! So so good! I think I’m in a trance
This place is nice Mexican store so sad that they no longer do international money transfer and they don’t sell alcohol, they have a butcher and have fresh meat as well as fresh fruit and vegetables and always have fresh Mexican sweet and non sweet bread. As well as Non-perishable food.
Solid Mexican grocery with an outstanding carnicería — their chorizo is so good that now my family won’t eat any other kind. Good selection of dried chiles, apparently house-made salsas, and hard-to-find produce. There’s a small selection of pan dulce, but I haven’t sampled yet. Tamales are made in the style I remember from my time in the DF; not satisfying for my Texas-born spouse, but I found them all very tasty.
Love this little place. Great selection and very reasonable prices so glad I discovered this location. My family and myself love the bakery section, havent tried their prepared food that others have spoke about but definitely going to give it a go. I also want to mention for me besides the prices and selection, customer service is extremely important. This place delivers on all of that and they deserve recognition for it. Thank you for being in business!!
I moved here 10 months ago. Been searching for the equivalent of my favorite burrito joint in Eugene. This has surpassed my expectations and is amazing! For $4.50 you get a burrito that could feed two people, maybe three! And it was absolutely the best burrito I have ever had! I'm hooked! And the service was fantastic!
This place is great! Not only is it a market with some great produce and selection of meat, but they make some great burritos as well. The salsa was amazing also. All of the staff was friendly and polite, definitely a place worth checking out.
The torta is amazing and the panaderia is pretty good also. I will need to learn Spanish though as it was kind of difficult ordering and paying for my stuff. I think they are used to regulars so the lack of explanation was very confusing. As in I asked what was on the torta and he told me....but he was only about 50% accurate. And after he wrote down our order, he just walked off. No explanation on where to pay, where to get our food or anything. After awhile a lady came out with the food but he hadn't written down a name so there was just confused mumbling of what the order contained. I then tried to ask one of the cashiers if I paid for my hot food with my other stuff but that just confused everyone since she didn't seem to speak any English so she got a scared look and pointed to someone else for me to ask. They were really nice and the food is so good that I am serious when I say I am thinking about learning Spanish just to make going here easier for everyone involved.
They will cook your meat for you! My coworkers and I love to pitch in and get a bunch of stuff from the deli for make your own tacos. Guacamole is super delicious as well!
Love this place! They seem to source their dried chile peppers themselves. Not the standard company/packaging found in most other stores As a result Salsa Market has some of the better selection of dried chile peppers in Beaverton. I've made some wonderful Pozole and chili with the ingredients from here!
