My partner and I travel from Indiana to Port Orange multiple times throughout the year. We try local restaurants every trip. We had yet to find a Mexican style restaurant of our liking until today. The service was amazingly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was so peaceful and clean. Most importantly the food was fantastic. We have tried multiple Mexican style restaurants in the area and found the food to be sub-par and without flavor. The food at Salsas was so flavorful and delicious. We have found our local Mexican style Restaurant here in Port Orange and we will definitely be back frequently.
We have been coming here for quite some time as locals. Service is sometimes lacking attentiveness. Not tonight with SAL! Sal was very attentive, answered, with knowledge, our questions about some menu items we had never tried. We never had to ask for a refill! SAL was very refreshing and they are lucky to have him!Food: 4/5

Back again after maybe three years, we ordered the 3 amigos and we weren't disappointed. Very well cooked and plenty of food for two people. We're coming back for sure. Taco Tuesday, yummy
From beginning to end this was a great, fun place to dine. The waitstaff was kind, courteous, prompt and efficient. The food was amazing….from the complimentary chips and salsa to the desserts. My husband is a sucker for a Pina Colada and it didn’t disappoint! Even my 8 year old loves the tacos but especially the beans and rice …. We will be back soon…
Giving them a new review it’s been a couple years since I’ve been. Food is really good and fresh. Coconut margarita and mojitos are yummy too. Menu has changed a bit. The restaurant looks amazing and clean with the remodel.
My all time favorite local Mexican spot. Chips & salsa on the table before you can even sit. All of the servers are so sweet and attentive. Make sure you get a jumbo marg! Pictured is a regular Jalisco Tons of options & cheap strong pitchers. The fresh guac is worth every penny and the salsas quesadilla is amazing every time. Don’t bother with anyone else, I’ve tried them all. Go straight to Salsas!
I just had my regular meal that I always have there, which is the order two items and I have the Chile Relleno and Quesadilla. Our waitress was wonderful with a great smile, but when I bit into my chile relleno my mouth went on fire. This is not supposed to be a spicy item even the Waitress agreed . Don’t know if they have new cooks or whatever. The waitress talk to the manager about this they couldn’t explain why it was spicy. would like to have the manager come to the table but I guess as a customer they don’t care. Any good manager would’ve come to the table. Plus the chips they give us in the beginning before we order were old and hard to chew when we asked for a new bowl they never gave us one. used to go to this restaurant, but not no more. this really was a horrible meal. My mouth is still burning and my lips are still burning even hours after this. / response from the owner is they checked with the chef and thank you for bringing it to their attention but still no customer service. All I got off the bill was three dollars and no contact from any manager thats poor customer service in my book.
