Beautiful and lively restaurant. In a great spot with nice views. Really loved the outdoor eating however that’s where the positives end. 23$ for Atlantic salmon, for that price I was expecting wild caught. I don’t eat rice so I got a Cesar salad on the side and it was served room temperature, not cold at all and I asked for the dressing on the side and it was in the salad and there was a lot of it, over dressed basically. Was not impressed by this place at all.
Was on vacation, but I went in around 10PM on a Saturday night, we only ordered to go but everything was awesome. The hostess staff were very friendly, the atmosphere inside and out was exciting but calm. There was live entertainment, and everything looked very clean and welcoming. Even with the crowd our food was ready in 20 minutes. Enough time to walk down the pier and back. I’m definitely looking forward to going eating here again the next time I’m in town.
The burgers are not good. I really wanted Fish but it was to expensive. I ordered my burger medium and it was well done. The fries cost an extra $2.99 and they were cold. Service was great, My son enjoyed his sushi and he got a free dessert for his bday. It's a neat location across the road from the beach.Rooms: 5/5
Pretty bummed. Hubs and I were driving through and should have checked the order before we left. I was supposed to get ranch and avocado fries with the burger and didn’t get either. The burger was also mega dry, I ended up throwing it out. Hubs got taco salad with steak, there was no dressing and VERY little steak, maybe 1 ounce… then just a lot of lettuce and some grated cheese, he threw his away too. All up $40. We’d like a refund. The only reason I gave it an extra star was because the girl that served us was nice.
We were welcomed in, sent upstairs to be seated for the view. One waitress asked if we wanted something to drink. She brought the waters out to the tables in front and behind us, I actually had to walk up to the bar to get my own water. Another waitress came out and took our order,. Our new waitress was attentive at first, but ignored me when I ordered a second drink. She only checked on us 3x during the course of our meal and proceeded to offer to go waters to others except for us. Never refilled our waters or asked if anything else was needed when she brought the check over. I’m not understanding how hard it was to be courteous or have awareness of what is happening around you. She was not a terrible server, however would have expected more from the St. Augustine location.
The atmosphere was definitely a beach vibe. The waitress, Kayla was awesome EXCEPT when she chased me down to let me know I need to leave a $22 tip! The crab legs were very small and definitely NOT worth the price. The salmon was good but my mom & brother, who ordered the Beach Boil, left still hungry. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but the food was just alright.
Very delicious food. The tacos were so good and the tropical fried rice was amazing! Our waitress was fast and very attentive. Nice place to eat and enjoy some music as well!Service: 5/5
Salt life is a fun restaurant. Andrew our waiter was very busy but we were NEVER neglected at anytime. He is on the ball and wonderful at his job. We were a party of 7. He kept our drinks filled and he even brought extra napkins without any of us asking. That is tops. Great service!!! Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu choices. Parking: They could have a few more handicap spaces. But we helped the handicapped person by dropping the person near the door in the wheelchair, then found a parking space. So it worked out. Wheelchair accessibility: One in our group has a wheelchair. It was easy enter & exit, table accommodated the wheelchair. Restroom was also accommodating for a handicapped person.
Had driven by here several times and we finally stopped and were definitely glad we did. My boyfriend got the maple soy glazed salmon and I had the fried grouper basket. Everything was so good and the atmosphere was really unique! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
We sat on the top deck and there was a decent view. We really liked all of our food. My only complaint was that the breading on the chicken sandwich fell off and there wasn’t enough sauce on it. Service was great!Service: 5/5
