Dr. John Morris is a Tupelo native with deep roots originating in Saltillo. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He has a professional interest in avian and exotic medicine. He has quite a collection of dogs, cats, ferrets and birds. Dr. Morris has two sons - Quin and Richard.
Dr. Charlie T. Tucker is originally from Tupelo and worked several years at Saltillo Small Animal Hospital before attending college. After receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi Sate University in 2012, our hospital was extremely fortunate to receive him back again. Dr. Tucker enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine; however, he has a special interest in challenging internal medicine cases along with emergency and critical care cases. In his free time, Dr. Tucker enjoys fly fishing, fly tying, attending concerts and spending time with his two weimaraners, Mick and Penelope.
Working with our doctors is a professionally trained staff of veterinary technicians, kennel technicians, and receptionists who offer a full array of services, including health examinations, laboratory testing, radiology )x-ray and ultrasound), surgery, dentistry, boarding adn grooming. Our staff believes that the health care your pets receive throughout their lifetimes can minimize and prevent disease. Proper care includes regular check ups, vaccinations, parasite control, dental examinations, exercise, and diets that meet your pets' changing nutritional needs.
