Salty Duck

As a long time local, I wanted to share with my family visiting from England a local bar. I have always come to the Salty Duck. However, last night was disappointing. We were a party of 7, decided to order some drinks and we were inquiring to the bartender male with curly hair. His response was LITERALLY "Uhh, this is going to take forever." Um, excuse me???!! We had been ordering drinks for less than 2mins, not even lying. Isn't this your job....your job all night....to serve drinks? Then on top of it, there was nothing but screamo and I mean hardcore screamo playing the entire time. The atmosphere was trash. This was not the Salty Duck I've come to for over a decade. I actually left quite embarrassed as I hyped Salty Duck up so much throughout the day. I miss the vibe of Salty Duck with a bartender that was welcoming and happy to serve you and share with you the local beers etc. I use to sit in there for hours and hours having the best time. Such a shame.

Stopped by here after dinner and had an awesome time! Had a few drinks and played shuffle board and darts! They have a ton of beers on tap! They have indoor Cornhole and Genga. Will definitely be back!Service: 5/5

Was better when they only served beer, wine, and sake. The clientele was more hipster and less douchie. Now, instead of people coming to get the latest local beer on tap and play some cornhole, you’re surrounded by jerks trying to liquor-up and cause a ruckus or grope each other. The beer's still good, but best to not stay too long.

One of the chillest spots to drink with friends, and actually hold conversations with people. The place has cornhole, darts, Jenga, etc. The place also has a jukebox with new songs. All the other bars are more for grinding on one night stands to a dj playing “All I do is win” by T-Pain atleast 5 times loud af, while jealous military dudes try to fight any competition.

I often come to this bar, cool local bar, great bartenders and regulars here. I have social anxiety and don't often go to bars alone. This is the only bar I can go alone. <3

Fun place to play! They have giant Jenna and connect four, corn hole, darts and more. It does smell quite heavy like bleach if you are sensitive to that...

It's actually a cute bar, good pricing on drinks, bartenders are super friendly and make you feel welcomed. Restrooms are blah but it's a restroom. Overall it's a cute bar to have some good drinks. Good music choices too.

One of my favorite hangouts, dogs are welcome until 9pm. Darts, Cornhole, things to do inside. Two projectors with sports on.

A gem we found on our spring trip to Ft Walton. 40 taps and beers we have not found anywhere else. This will definitely be a place we go to again!
