I enjoyed the new look it reminded me of Ross department store very clean and neat new updated items. Everything in the store was not used and the used items were extremely well taken care of. I like the sales that they put on about every 4 weeks or so. The sales are advertised by color giving you anywhere from 20% to 50% off a certain tag color. A great way to shop when money is tight and Christmas is near.
This place has the feel of a boutique, and the prices match the feeling. This place doesn't do percentage off tag sales, how unSal-like!!! I appreciated the friendly staff, I'm sure it's the one thing that motivated me to look around and not turn around and waltz on out the door. Even if you happen to be traveling on W.11th ave. while passing through town, you can afford to bypass this one. I'm sure the community you serve will be pleased, well done!
I had to come back and edit my post after the re-org. My, my, my how things have changed. This place went from a connected part of the community where people of lower income could find bargains to a well organized, albeit disconnected, price gouging machine. Correct me if Im mistaken but arent the items donated to the salvation army? If so, why are they charging surreal prices for used, sometimes outright trash in a community with shallow pockets? The prices are so ridiculous for furniture and electronics you'd be better off buying brand new and Im not exaggerating! I used to stop by sometimes twice a week and now its hardly ever. Just because you reorganized the place doesn't mean you get to overcharge the community for things you get for FREE! To back this review I will go by there again and take some pictures of their ridiculousness. Stand by. . .
I love shopping there. Everything is organized and reasonable priced.
I don't know what i was expecting but what ever it was i didn't get it. Some of the prices on things were on the mark and others was ridiculously over priced. Smh

The Salvation Army is a great place to shop. And the sales are great.
