A great place to bring unneeded items that will be sold to raise money for the good work that they do. I've also found wonderful clothing that includes many of my "favorites" to wear. New affordable clothing is often made out of poor quality materials and is poorly constructed. The older clothes, when in good condition, are often so much better than what is on the market today. It's one of my favorite places to shop.
the cashiers are weirdos and act like theyre doing us a favor by doing their job. yelling at customers for not knowing some random rule is WEIRD and should not be tolerated.. pick better employees or something
the workers are lovely people but price gouging because of tiktok trends when you’re marketing to the poor/needy is not very cash money of salvation army, and it’s definitely not why it was founded. i bought a dress for 13 dollars and it had a giant rip in the mesh i didn’t notice, it’d be fine if the dress was like 5 bucks like they used to be but with 13 bucks i could have just bought a new dress on shein.

If the Salvation Army doesn't have what you're looking for, checking back once or twice a week wouldn't hurt. They're always adding more clothing and furniture!
The pricing for used clothes is a bit high. Even with half price off different colored tags. Some staff were extremely helpful while some were not helpful at all. It smelled like moth balls and the ceiling was leaking. I would suggest a more organized approach for the clothing. A neater display attracts more spending. Depending on the day the selection is pretty good.
Actually found a lot of things for the family today. Thrift stores are always hit or miss. Cashier wasn't too impressed with the amount of clothes we had at the register. Some things were a bit too dirty or torn to be sold in my opinion. Maybe not enough staff to be able to sort things throroughly?
worst thrift store anywhere in the area. super bare bones selection, huge space just full of mostly junk. 90% of the contents are stuff people would have a hard time giving away for free. that's not even getting into the terrible ethics of the company.
I ALWAYS have a wonderful time in this store. Ive found tons of items throughout the many years of shopping here. The Color Tag of the Day make it fun to shop. Its like getting an extra bonus. Who couldnt appreciate that? Most of the workers are pleasant and knowledgeable of what and where things are. Others. Well they just exist and think we owe them. Duh! Then dont work in the public eye.
Marlene and I all of our clothing shopping at the Westfield Salvation Army Store. We always shop here first for furniture, sporting goods. books, etc. Why?: * Nelson the manager and Crystal previously are outstanding professional managers who inspire their employees to provide courteous customer centered service. The store is immaculate and the merchandise first rate. * Most of the clothes we purchase still have the original tags or appear to be brand new $70. sweater > $4. $50. shorts > $5 $100 jacket > $5 * Best of all: 85¢ of every $1 we spend goes to help someone in need.
