Dr. Sam Daoud DDS provides quality dental care to the Avon Lake and Sandusky communities, as well as the surrounding areas.
Dr. Daoud grew up in Syria where the four seasons exist and comes from a large family. Dr. Daoud is the fifth child in a family of six children. His father was the chairman of Dermatology at the university of Damascus and mother was a school teacher. Two siblings are doctors, one a dentist, one a pharmacist and one a biomedical engineer. Dr. Daoud decided to be a dentist because of the combination of art and science in Dentistry.
After graduating from Damascus University in Syria, he traveled to the USA for a better education, brighter future and great weather. He was fortunate to get the first two in Cleveland, OH. He attended Case Western Reserve university and finished his second DDS degree in 1999. To sharpen his skills he went to Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale school of Medicine and finished his General practice residency in Dentistry in 2000.
He returned to Ohio and started a private group practice in Sandusky, OH.
In 2003 he ventured out and started his own practice from scratch in Avon Lake. A few years later he opened a second office in Elyria. He always enjoys traveling throughout the USA seeking the best dental education. He enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience with his colleagues.
Dr. Daoud is happily married to a beautiful wife Nagham. He has three children Maya 15 years old, Sal 12 years old, and Zain 7 years old.
Dentistry is Dr. Daouds passion and hobby. He has fun serving patients dental needs and making them smile is his reward!
Other than Dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing basketball. In his spare time he likes to eat and sleep! He has found it is the best strategy to relax and be happy!
