Today was the 8 dollar sign up for a membership which tomorrow. The store was very nice with lots of reasonably priced goodies. It took a bit to sign up, then it took a while to check out, took two different employees and being checked out 3 times before it took, i'm only deducting one star because the employees were polite and apologetic for the snafu. We'll be back.
It's alway crowded when we come but the restrooms my be under new management because this is a complete 180 of what it used to be. Little decorations, cleanliness, and of course the deodorant smell makes the restroom experience awesome from what it was. Please keep up the great work.
I called the tire and battery department at this location Pearland several times today and they pick up and hang up every time. Then, when I did teach Sam’s, they told me to come because the battery was in stock. I got there and he said, it’s in stock but the one batter that we do have is leaking
Do not order curbside. The app will tell you your order is ready; however, upon ariving the wait will be over 20 min. After asking the person inside, I found out that they were still gathering my order. This has happened on multiple occasions.
Employee's didn't assist when you asked them where items were, They only pointed in the area saying "somewhere over there". Also, I was in line at 6:45 for the Cafe that closed at 7. Myself and at least 8 other people. A Sam's employee cut the line in half and said "We're closed, We only have 4 hotdogs left". I thought that was very rude.
I gave you a score of one and it's not because of the service that I get from the team they're doing iall they can to take care of the customers but its the electric carts the same problem there's never enough and the ones is there doesn't work properly It doesn't matter if I go at 10 o'clock in the morning or 6 o'clock in the evening the same problem I know as large of a company's Sam's club is surely the company can do better I'm starting to understand the bottom line is more important
I've been a member since 1992 and love all the great products you can find here. Sometimes the process can be a little slow but I highly recommend the club.
First time Sam's member...I honestly don't see the point of sam's club because their items don't seem reduced with membership....I saw a lot of things in their electronics department that I knew for a fact were overpriced...They were selling phone charging cables for 24$ each when I can actually just go to Bestbuy and the same for 7.99$...Just a place for ppl to make themselves believe they have "special access" to deals when those deals don't actually justify the cost of membership...The only thing Sam's is good for is gas....besides the gas price reduction, I don't see the point of going inside their store to shop....This Pearland location is filled with a bunch of weirdos staring at you constantly.....I don't even get those "evil eye" vibes in an actual Walmart store....The ppl I was walking past at this Pearland location were weird....I might try a different location for shopping but this Pearland location has a weird vibe....the employees were nice but the ppl in there were weird.....I could just feel the tension in the air...will be keeping my membership for online and gas purchases but as for coming inside this Pearland store location, I don't see that happening again....maybe another store....the parking was outrageous....and the cooked food lines were long...about 20 ppl lined up for rotisserie chicken and about another 13 ppl queued up for some slices of pizza.... absolutely ridiculous.....This membership was free from my boss as a gift so I decided to use it but I don't think I will be return to shop in the store again....Maybe another location but this Pearland location has a weird vibe and I don't see any true price reduction besides fuel.....The men's clothing department is dead....waste of time.
DO NOT ORDER CURBSIDE HERE!!! They will steal your money! I ordered curbside today for 12-1pm. I arrive at 12:10 and realize that I can’t tell the app that I’m here because it says my order is still in process and not ready. So I get out of the car and go to the curbside pickup area inside the store and tell this guy that I’m here and he asked for my order number and parking spot number and says he’ll bring it right out. Well since I’m already there I asked if I could just get my order and pack it in the car myself and he says no it’s not allowed but he’ll be right out. I wait 45 minutes in my car until 1pm with no one in sight. I read the reviews at how unorganized these curbside people are and realized they were probably never going to come out with my order. Furious I leave and decide to cancel my order when I get home. When I get home after getting my groceries at H‑E‑B down the street great customer service btw!, I look at the app and find out it says it’s been PICKED UP??!! By who??? I immediately call sams club and wait over 10 minutes with nobody answering the phone, typical. I call Sams club customer service and this gentleman worked super hard on my case because he called the store for me and they refused to refund my order, saying that it “was already picked up”. He ended up just talking to his supervisor who just said to refund my money. Gosh what a nightmare. Never coming here ever again and immediately cancelling my membership and I have been a member for almost 12 years.
The store was a little crowded but being Saturday, I expected that. The store was clean and orderly. All the staff that I had interactions with were all smiling and friendly. They will help you with a smile and good attitude. The only complaint is that the frozen items are barely frozen when you take them out of the freezer to purchase them. By the time you get home in 15 minutes they are not even cool much less cold. Ice cream is a bad purchase unless you have a cooler that will keep it frozen from the store to your home.
