Sam's Club is my favorite place to go for my Pharmacy needs and groceries, which you can't get anywhere else. The Food court is super. You like pizza? Well they have the best pizza in town - New York style thin crust!!! - And the best part, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
All my visits to Sam's Club are different. Some times inventory on products I use is low, but that's my go to place because of the quantity I buy. Using the scan and go app is so easy and convenient. I don't have to wait in line or deal with people. I'm so glad this is available.
Very poor managed store. We called to order a pizza before we got to the store and no one answered for 15 minutes. We tried to order pizza on the app, but they were sold out because they ran out of dough. We order the hot dog combo only to find out all three drink machines were out of order. They wouldn’t refund the drinks we had already paid for or give us a substitution of an icee, even though they were exactly the same price. We spoke with a manager, Amanda, and she was dismissive and would not do anything to solve the problem of us paying for something we didn’t get.we asked for a refund and she couldn’t get the refund to go through on our account, so she gave us a whole bunch of change. This poorly managed store makes the Sam’s name look very bad.
I normally love Sam’s and have never had any issues. However, going there tonight 04/24/23 around 6:30 ish pm was a different story. The girl they had at the front entrance shorter hispanic girl checking club cards DID NOT CHECK anyone else that went in front of me but for some reason specifically singled me out. When I asked the reason as to why it was okay for everyone else to enter without showing their membership cards but I had to, she lied and said they had them out already which no they didn’t. I literally walked in with these people and saw the entire situation. They DID NOT show her their cards nor did she stop them to ask for it she then got belligerent with me, cursed at me and raised her voice at me while I was walking away from her mind you. Upon hearing from coworkers of hers this was nothing new and she is known to be rude and belligerent with people. I ended up seeing the manager on my way out a nice staff member asked me to tell her about what that girl did and the manager also was very nice and understood. She did mention the girl was new and did express that it was still not acceptable new or not that is never okay especially when nobody did anything to deserve her acting like she did. You may not like your job but nobody forced you to be there so don’t take it out on everyone else ‍. She said she was going to address it, which I hope so because nobody deserves to be treated the way I was treated tonight. I have absolutely no issues with showing my membership card, that doesn’t bother me. I just couldn’t understand why I specifically was singled out by this person. Especially not knowing her nor having any interactions with her prior.
We had a flat tire while traveling. We called the tire department and they said they would wait on us because they were closing. We got there and they actually did wait and patched the tire for us. Very nice people. 2 associates worked pass closing and we are very thankful. It pays to be a member.
Just traveling through and had a flat tire, called Sam's to see if they had tire our size. They did but they were suppose to close in 30 minutes, we were 55 to 60 miles from Sam's, they waited for us, fixed tire and then wouldn't charge us anything! Great customer service!
On 6/9 I had come here to do some shopping I was getting coffee ground up and my vape pen had somehow fallen onto the floor I didn't realize it and it was already almost closing time. Paid for it out of my pocket and I called in the morning on the 10th and the lady told me that they don't keep stuff like that they throw it away. You are a business and don't have the right to throw out anything until a month has passed. That was a brand-new vape pen and now I'm out that money because of you. I'm giving others a warning that if you lose something here you won't get it back.
I generally like Sams but the checkout situation needs help. There should be no reason you have to wait 30+ min in line because you want to use cash and there is only one employee working a register to accept it. We aren’t a cashless society yet.
I know it's hard to find skillet bakery labor. However, it's very disappointing when a bakery can not bake a level cake and has NO decorating skills to hide the sub par bake. We had a full sheet coke, 2 corners sagged noticeably lower then the rest of cake. Skilled bakers and decorators conceal or camoflage this mistake during decorating. A skilled baker knows to tap the pan so you cake bakes more even. Bottom line iIs either way the customer never knows the cake was lop sided or much thinner.
I want to say thank you to the Roswell staff for treating my order with care. They took extra precautions to make sure my Ritz crackers were not damaged in transit.
