They were out of a couple things that we were looking forward to. Overall the food was good. Fish was a little old and fishy tasting. Barbecue was great! Collard greens were fabulous! Cabbage to die for! Great homecooking!Food: 4/5
Came in here after reading some reviews, we have mixed feelings in regards to those. First off it’s kinda loud for very few people. Wife had the ribs, which were good, bbq sauce was ugh, tasted like sweet & sauce mixed with honey mustard or something and didn’t sit well with our stomachs. Cabbage was cooked good, coleslaw is homemade. I had the catfish, which had a good tasteful batter seasoned with soul seasonings, pinto beans and fried okra is kinda the same everywhere. Sweet tea was on spot. On this restaurant we will let you decide.
The food is sooooo delicious, best BBQ spot in lawton for sure. Corn bread is also amazing.
Just found out about this wonderful place with amazing food!!!! Better get you some !!!! Oh and don’t forget to get a lemonade it’s so tasty.

They have amazing service. The people are incredibly friendly and it has good prices. They have amazing ribs and the best okra I have ever had. All their food really feels like great home cooking. You always feel like you are being greeted by family when you go there.
