Cute lil Latino-run bakery has the goodies and seems to be a bit of a hole-in-the-wall. Very clean venue does exceptionally well with cakes/creations and they have a nice array of baked yummies as well. Customer service is top notch, prices seem reasonable and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owners.

It's my favorite place to order cakes. This family owned business is from michoacan, and the flavors shine through their desserts. It makes me feel at home. I have ordered cakes, small desserts, and treats and atole. They make a delicious thick atole de nuez that is perfect for the holidays and cold weather. The staff is also super friendly.

I’ve bought my daughter’s cakes here for the past 2 years. They are always beautiful and delicious. They are very moist and not overly sweet. I also love the tres leches with flan cake. I will say that I feel that they are on the pricier side compared to the other bakeries in Mundelein but I think it’s worth it.

This bakery was amazing to work with! So kind and very open to a challenge! I asked for a “shag” cake design for my daughter two groovy second birthday theme and they knocked it out of the park with design and taste! Thank you so much!

I researched a bunch of bakeries to create my son’s first birthday cake. I was going for a traditional theme for my design and wanted to make sure I chose a bakery that was really good with small details. I came across Samaris and looked at their Instagram and I was sold. I provided a couple pictures and asked for extra layers for my cake and they totally delivered! I was very impressed by their work and also the cake was so delicious and moist! I received lots of compliments on the taste of the cake, we did different flavors for the layers and the vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream was a clear winner! I would definitely order from Samaris again and recommend to anyone who needs a cake designer with true talent.

I am writing this review to share with the community the excellent customer service I received when ordering a custom cake at Samaris Sweet Creations in Mundelein. Julio was amazing! He listened to our ideas and created a cake the was even more spectacular than we imagined. This bakery is a true gem in our area!

So this is a small bakery, I came at 11 and alot of deserts were gone already. I got two cheesecakes which were okay. I wish they wouldn't run out of things so quickly

Samaris Sweet Creation has amazingly delicious cakes, pastry, dessert, or anything to satisfied your sweet tooth! This local family owned bakery has stole our heart with their sweet creation and kind customer service. We have tried their tres leches, flan, cheese cakes, fruit tart, tiramisu and many others, all of them are delicious, fresh, light and not overly too sweet. If you looking for a bakery to order special cakes for special celebration, or just want something sweet to lift up your moods, look no further, come to this place and you will be satisfied! They have facebook page where you can see all their scrumptious creation, but call the store directly if you want to order anything, thats the fastest way to reach them.

I went in for a small birthday cake, as I had not ordered anything in advance I was afraid I would find nothing. Quickly my eyes were drawn to the two small refrigerators containing delicious looking and tastefully decorated desserts. Not only did I find the perfect cake but I ended buying $65.00 worth of small desserts including one small to have while driving. The service was amazing and the personal approach to the customer was flawless. My slice of Lemon mascarpone did not make it very far to say the least. Great job and well worth every penny.
