Sambi Canton

Used to go here a lot for both in-house and take out food and never had any issues. Most recently ordered the sweet and sour chicken to-go and there was no sauce on the chicken or on the side. So just plain breaded chicken and some vegetables and pineapple chunks. Sadly couldn't even bring myself to eat it.Food: 1/5

Went here with some friends for dinner and was met with some pretty terrible customer service right off the bat. Our appetizers came out at different times and one person in our party didn't get his until after we all got our meals and had to remind staff about it. He also got the wrong sushi roll and our server didn't remake it for him, only gave him the Avocado that wasn't added in a side dish. The rolls were also extremely small which was disappointing and not very filling. Most of us had really upset stomachs after eating there. Would not recommend this place at all :

I knew when they served our first appetizer fried dumplings and the sauce had a strange lump floating around in it I had made a bad choice of restaurants. Most of my discouragement was based on the service because they were way understaffed. 2 items we ordered never arrived, each dish was delivered to the table individually with several minutes between leaving my daughter just watching us eat while we hoped hers was coming.

Hard working team - great food and incredible service. Only place in town that makes moo shu. If looking for delivery - only use grub hub. Not Uber Eats.

The food was great. Communication when ordering was difficult. I'm guessing they were very busy with delivery orders as the inside was just us and one other table of 2. Staff were getting frustrated with each other. I'm assuming about priorities with customers vs bussing tables as they he kept pointing over at our table with tearing into a woman. But the good was great and nobody was hurt.

Increddddible for steamboat standards! My boyfriend and I were hesitant because Sambi was horrific, but Ocean Dragon is delicious. We are so stoked to have some good Chinese food in steamboat! The lo mein is my absolute favorite and we’ve tried sesame chicken, general tso chicken, drunken noodles, crab rangoons, and two sushi rolls so far. Everything has been great! Thank you Ocean Dragon! We will be regular customers for their solid efforts and great prices!

Went here for dinner and it turned out to be very good. The dumplings were the best part in my opinion. Had some good food and the time that we spent was rather nice.Food: 5/5

Update: I DID in fact eat dinner here and did not order "to-go", so then what's your excuse for that??? It's a cute place, but honestly the food just is not worth it. I would not come back here. A lot of the items, like the egg rolls are very obviously frozen and just not enjoyable. I got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, and the fried rice isn't even fried rice, it was very soggy and just gross. The chicken was overcooked and super crunchy. The best thing I had was the wonton soup.

Very good authentic Chinese food. As long-time San Franciscans we’ve missed our weekly take-out fix and this place fills that void.Food: 4/5
