The first time I came here, I just got my shoes buffed and cleaned. He did a good job. But a few weeks later, the bottom of my shoe came apart. No big deal, it was an old shoe. So I sent my wife in to get new souls and tread put on. I was at work when I lost the bottom of my shoe, so I had to glue it back on. He told my wife there was nothing wrong with my shoe when you can clearly see it was holding on by a thread. He keep telling her to have me bring them in. The wife said it was as if he did not want to deal with a woman. Huge no go in my book. Took my business somewhere else.

My mom recommended this shop because she’s been coming here for 10+ years with a great experience each time. I went today and he was careful, took his time, and delivered an amazing service with the most chipper attitude. He is a true artisan of this craft with over 30+ years of experience. Don’t go to big brands & support small biz! You’re in good hands & spirit. :

I will recommend this Shoe repair store to everyone, Sami is a master of his trade,him and his wife run the store,mostly himand Sami with 50 years of experience, knowing the traditional way to handling leather is a professional on whatever you ask him to do,from shoes to leather vest he is definitely the best!,a blast from the past for sure, he is the most knowledgeable and the most experienced shoe repair technician and leather handler in the whole state. Make sure to ask with specific details,like if you want a different color of string. When it comes to patches he uses the best string out there,used to do leather straps. On top of that after I came to pick up my vest he was eating and offered me food too, he even fed me and talked positive about life,on top of his work he is a angel. Sami's Shoe Repair is an excellent venue to repair any shoes or boots. I am completely satisfied with the dress boots and shoes I had repaired here. This was my first customer service experience here--which was very pleasant. Sami was very professional, kind and detailed about how he could/would repair my dress boots and shoes. He explained to me why he thought his suggestions I like the expert opinion to repair my boots and shoes would be best to achieve the best results. After he explained it all to me, I agreed. The cost to repair I felt was good for my wallet. More importantly, this is an old school, local, mom and pop business, which I am happy to support. I would recommend this shoe repair shop to all family and friends.

My new shoes was ruined by this specialist. If you have the expensive shoes, don't bring it there. Again, I brought him a new pair to add the rubber sole. He damaged the leather, pained it poorly you can see the edge and paint spots, and the paint is too glossy. He glued the rubber poorly and uneven. Avoid by all means!

I absolutely love this place, great work, done quickly, and with pride in workmanship. Note, they are cash only, but that's no issue for repairs.

Horrible service. When I called to get details everything was excellent over the phone. But when I came in person the husband and wife owners both looked at me crazy and didn't even greet me with the Hello. I should have known right then to walk out but since I had drove such a far distance I decided to stay and get my shoes repaired. Throughout the conversation owner's wife randomly made several inappropriate comments and racially stereotyped me. I've never been so uncomfortable in my life. I could go into detail but I feel like why bother.... I'm pretty sure Google will probably delete this review anyways. But if you are reading this and you are of the Black race take your money and your business elsewhere because from the moment you walk in the door they will blatantly racially stereotyped etc.

Sami's is awesome! I ran in today with a new pair of sandals that I really like, but with a strap that was much too long. Despite the fact that these were not shoes that would be easy to take apart and reconstruct, we figured out a solution and the shoes were fixed right then. I have used Sami's before and would definitely recommend!!
