Stopped here Mother's Day. Appealing facade, almost didn't stop bc there were no customers when we looked inside. But there was parking down the side road so we decided to stop. Best decision! My pickier eaters enjoyed chicken fingers and cheese steak, we got fries and a seasoned spiced crispy potato side called batata hara for the table and they were both perfectly seasoned and crispy. I had a super flavorful and gigantic beef Sharma pita wrap, and we tried the honey and herb wings also. The Lebanese lemonade was floral and sweet, the kid who ordered it did not like it but the one who inherited it loved it. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time!
Great falafel wrap. I had never had one with pickled turnips inside, but it was delicious. The kofta and hummus was excellent too. The owner was very pleasant and happy to explain the various menu choices.
I never write reviews, but this is some of the best food I’ve had in a veryyyy long time. Not just middle eastern food, I mean FOOD. Plus the workers are soooo friendly. Get the chicken taouk and the Lebanese lemonade and you’ll ascend my friends
This guy has delicious food. He's a talented chef who is committed to Asbury Park and fair street food prices. His decor and ambience is a real gift to the whole growth and advancement of the area. I feel this establishment deserves our support, I hope it gets it,. And I'm convinced it will just get better and better as the years go by. I'd like to suggest a special food or drink but there's no need. There isn't a bad choice on the whole menu.
Great food! Im on vacation and glad I picked samis for a easy meal. I just got the rice bowl with beef schwarma-the food was ready really fast and tastes delicious. Decent portion size. Would definitely recommend to friends, 10/10!
Incredible! Baklava pancakes and great breakfast Sami! Don’t sleep on this place for lunch or breakfast! I’m getting the Lebanese plate next time.
Best falafel in the area...and one of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever eaten. They make the fresh herb kind green on the inside with a garlic sauce which is truly heaven on earth.
Food and service were outstanding. Nice quiet afternoon meal. Had the steak and roasted potatoes. Vegetarian options: They have it was not anything I tried but everything looks good.
Loved our late breakfast on our first visit to Sami’s. We shared a Greek omelette with the most delicious paprika potatoes and a classic falafel in a big fresh pita. We love all Mediterranean food and this place is legit! And it was Sami himself cooking and serving the food. We will be back very soon!
The shawarma platters are huge, and the wrap was excellent. We tried the chicken and beef and both were very flavorful. The beef is a little chewier but seasoned nicely.
