Losing a loved one is something none of us want to ever experience, however my family and I have lost two precious loved ones recently. Mr. Samuel Jackson and his staff are very professional, caring, and passionate about helping families give a proper farewell to a loved one. Sam has been dedicated to his profession since he was a teenager. Thank you so much Jackson Funeral Home for your dedication.
I would like to thank Samuel Jackson Mortuary for the outstanding services rendered during the passing of my husband. He did an outstanding job with his remains. He was very professional and timely. Everyone in my family spoke very highly of the services and outstanding job performed during our time of bereavement. The funeral home in Tennessee spoke very highly of you and appreciated how well you worked with them to transfer the body. Just like you told us everything was ready by the time they received the body in Tennessee. All they had to do was take him in to the ceremony. Our family will always remember how well you took care of us.
Mr Jackson and his staff were so comforting and professional. My family did not have to worry about anything, everything was handled correctly. I am grateful to Jackson Mortuary for everything they did for my loved one and my family.

This mortuary provided cremation and memorial service for my father. I was called 4 days before the service to request my time be changed for our memorial service due to them having taken on more services. I understand people pass suddenly, but I had booked the memorial service literally twelve day in advance. I was originally told my father's cremains would be available for pick up by the end of the week, but 12 days later, at the memorial service, they were still not available. I finally received them three days after the service and drove 35 minutes to meet the director to get them from him. I wasn't mad until I saw the date on the box. The cremation was completed on November 4th. I just got them on November 12th. Mr. Jackson made a choice not to go pick up my father's cremains and the only thing he had to say to me was "things happen". Just for the record, I have pictures of the label from the crematorium and can screenshot the conversations through text messaging and I paid in full the day my father passed for all services rendered. I am definitely not a happy camper.
My whole experience was excellent!! The staff greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. Mr Jackson was very professional and made sure we understood and explained the whole Process of us burying our love one...The limousine drivers were also very nice and made sure we had a comfortable and pleasant ride...
Our family sent a sympathy flower arrangement for the deceased, Cornelius Taylor, via Teleflora on Feb 1, 2019. Upon checking with the family the week of Feb the 10th, we soon discovered the floral arrangement wasn' t present during the funeral service. After several calls between the local florists and Teleflora we finally reached someone named Sam at this mortuary on Wed, Feb 13th. Once we explained our dilemma, he immediately remembered such a bouquet being delivered. Upon checking the funeral home vehicle, the arrangement was found but unfortunately this was 11 days after the funeral. He agreed to transport the arrangement to the deceased mother and to give us a call back upon delivery. Needless to say we have not heard back from this gentleman named Sam. We were appalled that such a error could have occurred in the first place. If you live out of state such as our family sender beware!!! Your heart felt sympathy arrangement could end up meeting it's demise in the back of a funeral car as opposed to withering away at the cemetery.
I would like to thank Samuel Jackson and staff, with special thanks to Cecil. You made everything fall in place, professional and compassionate to our family . The family of Evelyn Wiggins
I attended Mrs. P. Q. Coleman church services on today 01-18-2020 and I must say that, Jackson’s Mortuary Staff executed a high-quality pre-ceremony service with a song, crowning and an excellent praise walk. Well Done !!!
Advice, if you have a burial plot there, I advise you to find your records and go personally and locate your spaces. Change in ownership may be a problem. Check your records before you need it.
