This Honor Society was established to honor all Latino scholars for their academic excellence at the University of St. Francis. It was founded in 2014 by a group of Latino students, who wanted to form a society that would honor all Latino scholars.
The San Alberto Hurtado Honor Society, in order to recognize academic excellence among the University of St. Francis’ Latino students, encourage service to the Latino community, promote Latino culture both on and off campus, and follow the Franciscan tradition of respect, compassion, service and integrity
