San Antonio Mexican Restaurant Independence, Oregon

Last week I took my mother to this beautifully appointed Mexican restaurant. We were instantly impressed by the bright, cheerful, colorful authenticity of the decor! Even the dining room floor is covered in tile! The food was absolutely incredibly delicious, including the dessert! The staff even sang “Happy Birthday” to my senior mother. I will be returning again, & again, as well as referring my favorite people!

Happily satisfied. This place is great! Decent plate for the dollar. It's decorated very fun and festive. I admire a restaurant that keeps so clean! The music was at a perfect level and the service was excellent. If you're wondering about trying this place, they get a strong thumbs up from us!

Delicious food prepared perfectly! Very friendly staff who were attentive and helpful and a very inviting atmosphere. Between the smells, taste and decor it's a whole experience while you eat! Plus the raspberry ice cream at the end was also extremely delicious! I had the San Antonios platter and it was bursting with flavor with each variation of meat. Can't wait to go back!

Good food, pass on the margs. I had the Pollo San Antonio and it was very tasty. A sweet and tangy sauce, offset with bacon! Lived in San Antonio for 16 years and can’t say I’ve had anything like it. The margaritas were disappointing- top shelf prices for well drink quality.

Stopped by for lunch during the week and had a chicken taco salad. Nice complimentary chips and salsa. Good service and the food tasted great!

I have been coming here regularly since the week they opened. Always great food and friendly service.

I am new in town and I wanted a nice big fat burrito because I think I earned it so on Friday 5 de Mayo I stopped to order a grilled chicken burrito to go. It was the worst burrito I have ever had. Chicken was dried, did not taste like grilled chicken, Pico de Gallo was tasteless, and the tortilla or the Pico de Gallo tasted sweet as if they had put sugar on it. I am not a cook and I can make a better tasting burrito than that. If I could give this place a 0 I would give them a -0. Go to Taco Bell their fake Mexican food tastes better than this place.

I first noticed it was very clean. Food was good. However. We had margaritas, which were good, but didn't taste much like tequila. I gave it 5 stars for cleanliness.

I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered the two tamales combo. First off the tamales were very hard like if it was stale , then the meat was dry. I'm guessing they were a few days old perhaps? The second thing was both the rice & beans were cold & I live like 5mins from the restaurant, so I didn't take long to get home for them to get cold. I will give you guys another try but will order something different.
