Needed to find a new dentist for my son and I’m so happy we tried San Diego Children’s Dentistry! All of the staff is super friendly and work great with kids. After his initial check up and cleaning, we needed to schedule a filling. They were able to get us in the next day at their sister location in El Cajon. I didn’t mind the drive since I really liked how the dentistI forget his name! was quick and efficient with my son.
Clean office. Friendly dentist and staff! My 8 year old had two teeth pulled and was in NO pain and is now doing so much better. Got a referral, appointment, and received care for him all in the same day. Thank you all. We appreciate you and all your hard work for our kids!
We had gone to a previous dentist and didn’t receive too much guidance or info when it comes to toddler dental care. Also was not at all kid friendly. I switched to San Diego Children’s Dentistry and I’m glad I did. The office was clean and so kid friendly. Dr. Frandsen was so friendly and informative. He staff was so kind as well. He provided great tips to tackle toddler tooth brushing. Also gave great tricks to wean our daughter off her pacifier. I loved the experience and I’m definitely going back. Even my daughter agreed to liking it :
We had our first appointment with Dr. Frandsen, and we highly recommend him! He was friendly and fun, which was perfect for our child’s first visit. He was also very thorough, patient, and informative. We felt super comfortable in the office and around the staff. The office was clean, had many fun toys in the waiting area, and the cleaning rooms had movies playing for the kids. Overall a great experience and we will most definitely be using Dr. Frandsen as our pediatric dentist!
Dr Frandsen and his staff are amazing! Best experience at the dentist ever for me and my kids! I have 3 kids and 2 are on the autism spectrum so going to the dentist has always been a challenge. Dr Frandsen went above and beyond to make sure everyone was relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend him!
My kids see Dr Frandsen and we see Dr Christensen. They are both great! My oldest has had a few cavities and Dr Frandsen has taken care of them with little to no pain. He is really cute with the kids and makes them feel very comfortable. They love to watch a movie on the ceiling while they have their cleaning which has made going to the dentist more fun haha. My husband and I have seen Dr Christensen for years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. My husband has had to have years of bad dental work repaired and Dr Christensen has done amazing. We finally found a dentist we trust to do a quality job!
My toddler just had his first dentist appt ever with them & it went so well! I was stressing because he was a little nervous & not cooperating but they were all unfazed & super nice to my son & I!
My two children's dentist is Dr. Peter S. Frandsen and I have to say out of all the pediatric dentist we've used, he is by far the best! He's very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. His facility in Poway is super clean and a great environment for my kids to feel comfortable while they wait for their appointments. They even provide multiple kids movies to watch while my children are getting taken care of. They have the latest technology in the office and are very thorough when it comes to billing insurance correctly. All of the staff that works there are very welcoming & friendly. I would definitely recommend this pediatric dentist to everyone I know that has children. Also, he doesn't just have an office in Poway but one in El Cajon as well. They always deliver the best quality care to my children and we always leave happy and satisfied with all the services provided. Sometimes, my children want to stay because of how comfortable they feel at the office! Thank you San Diego Children's Dentistry for your services!
I think most kids are pretty scared when going to see a dentist and my 3 daughters were no different. But after going to see Dr. Frandsen and the rest of the staff at San Diego Children's Dentistry, they are wondering when they can go back. Easy, gentle, comfortable and clean. Thanks for making going to the dentist an easy experience! Now, if only I could start using a pediatric dentist, maybe I would whine less. :-
I agree that doctors and nurses are awesome, very nice. However I didn’t believe how they charged me. They charge you upfront and claim that if I overpaid they will refund. But they never submitted the claim to my insurance. I called them and asked the payment, they later told me oh I should get some refund but I never got it because we were supposed to do further treat emend then the office was closed due to Cov-19. Today I took my kids to another Children’s dentist. They used same thing to apply on the teeth, it was much cheaper and I only had $3 copay, the payment was very clearly stated. I would never go back to this place.
