The Holiday Bowl was established in 1978 and is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to generate tourism, exposure, economic benefit and civic pride for San Diego and its citizens by producing one of the nation’s most exciting bowl games and festival of events. Since the organization’s inception in 1978, the effort has contributed more than $600 million to the San Diego economy.
