Third Annual San Gennaro Festival 2013
The Third Annual San Gennaro Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 14th and 15th, 2013. Most likely starting around Noon to 10PM on Saturday and from 10AM to 8PM on Sunday.
We will open the festival with a Mass on Saturday at 10:00am (subject to change) and hope that all of you who attended last year will tell all your friends to come out and join us. Father Eddie does a wonderful Mass on stage in both Italian and English under the beautiful Florida sky. You won't want to miss it!
Due to the success of the Second Annual festival we were able to fund our charities: The Treasure Coast Food Bank and Holy Family Catholic Church for families in need for Holiday dinners.
We hope to have thousands more from the tri-county area as well as St. Lucie County residents experience this New York style Italian festival in honor of San Gennaro, Patron Saint of Naples, Italy. He is celebrated in several parts of the United States with pockets of "Little Italy" areas all over these United States of America.
We will have a wonderful, wide selection & variety of ethnic foods, drinks, pastries and various types of live entertainment on the main stage, arts and crafts, and just plain fun for the entire family. Bring your children AND parents, and grandparents. This Italian festival is for the entire family! Mom and Dad, you can have a nice glass of wine or cold Bud and just enjoy the family time together watching the live entertainment.
Everyone will have great time, so don't miss out on the best Italian Heritage Celebration this side of Naples!
Our goal is to raise over $10,000 to be shared for our San Gennaro charities that we support.
Our Mission Statement
The Committee Members of the San Gennaro Festival of Port St Lucie, promote our Italian Culture, Catholic Faith, heritage, our music, dance and the arts. As a charitable organization and descendants of Italians, our goals are maintaining the Annual San Gennaro Festival Society Scholarship for a graduating senior in St. Lucie County. We support the Treasure Coast Food Bank of St. Lucie County and Holy Family Catholic Church for Families in Need for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas for dinner and gifts. No committee members, directors or officers of the San Gennaro Festival Society of Port St Lucie, Inc. are paid employees.
100% of all profits go to support our charitable organizations.
