This place feels like a dive bar - except that it doesn't shut out the outside world and isn't filled with morose drunks. And that's a good thing! I like extremely casual places with cheap drinks and good people. Were this place permitted as a bar, I'd visit often. However, it's actually a private club. Non members can only visit as a guest, or when they open to the public for events. As I don't yet know any members well enough to ask that they invite me as a guest much less to sponsor me as a member, I'm limited to attending during public events. I'm on their email events announcement list and attend most of them. Perhaps I'll see you there!
Love this place. When I'm on The Bay this is where I'll stay. Came in as a sailor in distress; kept the boat =Librium here for two months. Just lucky I guess.
