It has seen better days but still has a couple places to shop at. Get your grocery fill here, shop for home, or if you're looking for a lab to do your blood work. Who doesn't. There's still good Chinese food available too.
This plaza has lost some star players over the years, but I think it still holds up rather well. There are plenty of miscellaneous businesses and eateries located within this plaza, as well as a Stop & Shop grocery store. For more information on the businesses, check out their individual spots on the Map!
I had to stop in their parking lot to get something from my trunk. Spacious and seemed very safe. I think I went to the Stop & Shop here years ago and it was decent.
Mainly go-to th Stop & Shop. It has plenty of parking and there other stores/restaurants.
Sand Hill Plaza needs more stores. They should have made the connection road to next door Plaza South years ago when they had the chance...
TJMAX is located in this plaza. Their anchor store for sure. I love this store. Plenty of parking including handicap parking. Stop&Shop is located on the opposite side of this plaza. It's ok...nothing special. I shopped here more out of necessity when I worked at TJMAX. They're a well-stocked store but seriously lacking in natural, organic, vegan and grass-fed...free range items. There is a liquor store...I don't drink so can't comment on stock, variety, availability or pricing at this store. The turnover of stores seems to be high here. They do need more stores in this plaza. Panera Bread used to occupy a large space here. Since their closing...that big empty space is an eyesore.
Stop & shop, T.J maxx, Chinese food, a good eye doctor and fairgrounds liquor store. Lots of vacancy but hopefully the new owners will take care of that.
It's a clean, well-stocked Aldi, like I've come to expect from Aldi. It's on par with the Milford or Derby Aldi stores, as well as the ones I used to shop at near Buffalo and Fredonia, N.Y. The AOS aisle of shame lol was well stocked, too so I'll probably be back next time my husband has an appointment out this way. It was easy enough to find and parking lot wasn't a maze.
Overall, I'd rate this plaza construction as excellent. Their traffic light is well placed and during the winter the parking lots are plowed. I'm not sure how else to review a plaza so I hope this helped you out.
I swung in to go the eye doctor here. Very successful trip but nothing else in the plaza caught my eye to visit. When I was leaving I did see a snowplow spreading salt on the parking lot. That says a lot that the plaza cares enough to keep it clear of snow and ice. Good on ya.
