Had a handful of horrible experiences with Essentia but it feels closer so I stuck with it. I caved and established primary care here at this hospital and it had been a wonderful experience, I even moved my 4m old primary care over to this hospital, a few extra minutes is worth the better care!
I was brought to the ER for my first experience with rapid heart rate, I was very well attended to and end up staying in the hospital for 2 day. The PA and Dr I had were very good and caring and the nursing staff was great ! So my first ever experience in the hospital was good considering the circumstances. Special thanks to Dr Glessing and my day nurse Jess.
I have been going to this place off/on for 38 + years. Even when i moved away, I still came back here for a second opinion. When you walk in and the staff & drs treat you like a friend not a walking $$$ . Makes a huge difference in the quality of your care.
Perham Health Clinic is a wonderful place to go to. My provider Tonya Diggins, she’s such a caring person and she always answers my questions. She also makes me feel welcome at every appointment. She delivered my first baby and it was a wonderful experience! Her and the nurses took really good care of me and my baby in our stayed. She walked me through every step of my pregnancy. Something nice about Tonya is that she wasn’t just there at the end of my delivery, she was there the entire time supporting me while I was in labor! I also want to mention how good Bobbi and Megan the RN OBGYN coordinators were to me, they made sure I was informed about every prenatal appointment and it made me feel more comfortable since it was my first pregnancy! I enjoy bringing my baby to her appointments because Tonya is nice and sweet with her! I’m so glad I chose her to be my provider and she gets to be the doctor for my kids too! If you are looking for a provider, I definitely recommend Tonya Diggins and the nurses at Perham Health Clinic!
When I arrived at the clinic I was 9min.late ,I thought I arrived early and my appointment was at 11:30 but it was 11:15 which made me 9min.late..which I told the receptionist..She informed me that being 10min late she needs to talk to my doctor if she will see me...Ok,Ok, I am 9min late I replyed.she called with no answer back and had me pay for office visit and to sit down and wait ..Which I did for 22 min. Finally my name was called and the nurse then tells me the doctor will not see me as I came at 11:30 which would have made me 15min.late .I told her that is not true I She replied the doctor said you have to reschedule, sorry...as I was leaving...First I had to deal with a rude and argumentative receptionist, now with nurse who embarrassed me in front of other ppl in the waiting room...I will never be belittled there again...Yes I did reschedule with diff. doctor and clinic. I rate this experience -0.
The care that I received when I was in the hospital at Perham Health was excellent. When I put on my light, someone came to help me very quickly. Everyone, from each department was very kind and my care was excellent.
I gave birth to my first born child at Perham Health with Tonya Diggins, whom is highly recommended at more facilities than this one! I felt so taken care of and comfortable with everyone during my stay. I couldn’t recommend a better facility to go to. The nurses were also great and accommodating, one in particular I wanted to take home to continue help us!! Whenever possible I will use this facility for mine and my families care we live two hours from Perham. THANK YOU PERHAM HEALTH!
My grandpa had heart failure and these people saved his life. I can’t be more grateful.
So I went hear to get it all done and they messed up but one phone call later everything got resolved love it hear and will continue do business hear 10 out of 10
This Hospital rocks! Whirlpool jacuzzi bath for laboring women, nice and clean facility, “artsy” designs and decor throughout. We gave birth to our Son Ivar here. We did the midwife route with Tonya Diggins. She’s a wonderful and caring person. I highly recommend you pursue the midwife ways when delivering your newborns. Thanks again! Tom
