Sanford Health Walk-In Clinic

They have always been helpful, lord knows i go there often so much i believe i get a free coffee with my punch card being filled. For every ailment, the staff have been really kind. Back when they had later hours, it was still very good atmosphere even though there were those in some serious need. Just beats going to the Trinity ER, which you can wait a while to the point of your reason for being there goes away. Sanford Walk-In is highly recommend. Plus they have all the hours for pharmacys in town.

This is our go-to for acute care. The entire staff is awesome. From intake to the nurses to the doctors. All treat us like we are the most important folks they are seeing that day!

This is the 2nd time that I came in for simple antibiotics for a lung infection. This is basic medicine since the 1940s or 1950s I would say. The last time I was denied antibiotics for a lung infection at this clinic I came back more than 2 months later fresh from Covid-19 quarantine with double pneumonia because I had the mask forced on me by my employer and my lungs couldn't get rid of the infection without help. My lungs just stayed infected until I finally caught COVID-19 and pneumonia. I went in to the clinic the day that I left quarantine and the doctor was obnoxious and indifferent until she saw my x-ray! Then her whole attitude changed. She showed compassion on me and gave me most of the proper treatment for post-covid pneumonia except for the masks exemption. Finally I got my antibiotics, but it was to late because it cost me my job and my insurance. I wound up being conned shamelessly by Sanford staff trying to get me to make an appointment with this or that Sanford specialist for a mask exemption only to find out that the clinics had never done a mask exemption the whole time that the scamdemic was killing the public and their trust! I finally started asking the personal to please be as honest as they could because I was going to call the medicaid fraud line if this kept up. At least the clinics became more honest about not giving out mask exemptions ever no matter how necessary. But apparently what this clinic has learned is that if they withhold good responsible medicine from the public they can bill our insurance for repeat visits and unnecessary tests. The doctor on my most recent visit demanded that I "Prove that it wasn't a virus" the discolored gobs of stinky infected mucous that I had been coughing up and the 101.4°f fever that I had recorded 2days earlier and my coughing did nothing to persuade him. The doctor wanted to take my insurance for a X-ray even though I obviously didn't have pneumonia yet, and was recovering! I figured that the doctor had no intention of giving me antibiotics and simply wanted to bill for another unnecessary test since I obviously didn't have pneumonia this time. I drew the line and said that I would call Medicaid expansion and check to see if it was covered, but I figured that I would go elsewhere to seek more compassionate responsible doctors next time. It's rare that I have any use for modern medicine and the more that I interact with medical personnel the less I want to go to or trust anyone in the field. My neighbor had a tooth infection moving up into her eye socket. Very clearly bacterial in nature, very painful and scary too.... But Sanford clinic wouldn't help her even though this could have spread and turned into blood poisoning or a brain infection... All they did was take vitals and charge her for an office visit. The poor mother had to get help at Trinity! We should not have to do this stuff or pay for it. These people are liars and cons! Don't feel sorry for them. And Sanford clinic personal don't you dare complain about me not trusting you. 1 or 2 good apples in a barrel full of rotten ones doesn't make for a good profession...

After my first visit to Sanford, I was hooked! They ha a caring and friendly staff. I have been treated with care each time. Thank you, Sanford!!

I have never been to a walk-in before. I have heard the worst things about walk-in clinics wait time, rude people, doctors who will just brush you off ect but the people here were amazing! They were absolutely slammed when I went in at 4pm. They were still super friendly and very helpful. I was seen an hour maybe an hour after I checked in. I realize that’s a long time for some people to wait but they only had one doctor working at that time. When I got back they were understanding to my needs-I hurt my back and they were patient with me even though they had tons of people to see still. The Nurses were wonderful and the doctor actually listened to me. I truly appreciate everyone who works there and the hard work they do! Thank you for being patient, kind and very working hard!

I've never had a problem here. Been here several times, my kids have come here, and I just brought my wife in and diagnosed with a sinus infection. Very competent staff all the way around. Especially like Dr. Hogarth. She's awesome.

I haven’t been to trinity urgent care so I can’t really compare but I’ve been using Sandford for my medical needs and always receive good service. Some days the wait times are longer than others. When there was only one provider, I was checked in around 3:10 pm and was able to be done around 4:45 about hour and half almost two maybe? I’ve waited less before as well so it’s a gamble. I’ve waited way longer at military ERs which is why the wait time is manageable and fair enough for me. All nurses I’ve seen here are nice and the docs/PAs as well. I took my kids in and they are good with kids also.

I have had an aggressive and painful cough for 2 days. I have been trying OTC meds and home remedies since it started. I got my referral to urgent care and went. The nurse was really nice and asked questions l. When the Doctor saw me she spent about 4 mins in the room with me didn’t ask a lot of questions. Seemed like she had somewhere she would rather be. Ordered a Covid test and a strep test and said after about an hour I will get a phone call. Now I have 2 negative test and still have a cough and feels like I am swallowing broken glass. I completely wasted 3 hrs of my day…I called back and was told to try robitussin.

We were visiting family in minot and I brought my 2 year old here for ear pain. I was told she didn’t have an ear infection after spending 2 hours in an empty waiting room. The doctor spent all of 5 minutes with us. We then received a bill for $359 after insurance. $141.00 was for a strep test that we never even ordered. This place is a sham and should be reported.

this place is awful. i came in today at 10:30am abs i didn’t leave until close to 2!!! for the flu!!!! i waited in the waiting room for 2 hours before they brought me back to an exam room. then in the exam room i waited another half hour just for someone to come in. while i’m practically screaming from my chest and back pain, i can hear every nurse and doctor just hanging out having a great time talking to eachother instead of helping the many people waiting to be seen. once i was seen they didn’t tell me anything about results or what to do about the pain and sickness. another time they literally told me to go away and that i was fine after hitting my head so hard i could barely see. i understand not treating concussions and head injuries, but they shouldn’t have sent me away with an injury like that. there is a real pack of care here. my moms a nurse, i would know.
