Great park! Had my brother's 50th surprise birthday party there and the staff was GREAT! Easy to reserve, arrive & exit. Clean up was easy, as they have plenty of trash bins/cans near by. This park has the CLEANEST bathrooms, I've EVER seen! I researched plenty of parks for his party and by far this is the best choice! I thank the staff!
One of the best places for hiking. Beautiful sceneries. There we can find a kids play area and a small lake and bbq place. I am sure kids enjoy this place. For parking the car they are charging 6$. Once you enter the park there is no network service
This park is one of my favorites in the area! Great dog park for big and small dogs and plenty of space to picnic. There are amazing views from the trails starting from here. There is a $7 entry fee for a car but it’s well worth it! There’s a small water body to walk around, tons of empty lawn space to laze and watch the paragliders
This park is an ideal place for hiking it is smooth to climb the mountain that trailing lines are clear and safe it's very quiet if you want to engage with the nature and . It is a family friendly hiking area it is clean washers nice playing area for kids and safe as well closed area for dogs to play and fishing lake to enjoy your day I recommend this place for family to be engaged with nature Playground: Playground for kids is very nice and big the kids will enjoy it and it's safe for them to Restrooms: Restrooms are clean they have only 2 but clean Dog-friendliness: It is a closed area gated for dogs to play Picnic area: Picnic area is not too much big but still enough
If you can get over the un traditional unhelpful and personality issue rangers that I often run into it's got some decent areas. Two sides of the park. Each has a lake. One has horse back riding and the other has paragliding. Paragliding area has a nice playground. There is a lot of maintenance that could make this park great. not over populated at all and great way to get away from noise of the city. Playground: Nice playground with 2 sets and some other single units to play on. Big kid and little kid swings. Dog-friendliness: They have a dog playing area Picnic area: Lots of areas
The park has many nice hike trails and the views are awesome. The trails going up the mountains are moderately challenging and not shaded. From the top you get an amazing view of the park and the east bay. Entrance fee is $6 and there are many parking lots inside with a lot of spaces.
A great park with small lake, picnic benches and leisure trails. It also has a dog park. Usually it not crowded and you can enjoy the peaceful quiet place all for yourself. Fishing in the pond looks fun although I have not tried it myself.
One of my favorite places. Have visited tens of times. Never got tired of it. It looks different during different times of the year. It could be a little bit crowded during the weekends but not too bad due to its size. Many trails to choose from. Lots of birds. Parking is $6 per car.
Very nice park for a weekend hike, especially in Spring when the rolling mountains are green. Many people play paraglider too. Very cool to see them launch from the mountain top.
The park is definitely bigger than we thought and you might lose some cell reception, haha. Nonetheless, it was beautiful and had such scenic views throughout. It was our first time here and we had the honor in capturing some engagement photos here for our lovely couple.
