The Fort Larned Historical Society, Inc., through the Santa Fe Trail Center, collects, preserves, protects, and interprets significant historical, natural and cultural resources related to the Santa Fe Trail, Pawnee County and the surrounding area. Interpretation will include making the museum collections accessible to the general public through exhibits, resource materials, educational displays, programs, lectures, and special events in order to ensure awareness, edification and enjoyment for future generations.
