Had this bank for probably 15 or so years only because they bought out the bank I was doing. At first wasn't bad, but they so inept now. And it went down hill after supporting the Rainbow Mob and donates to the etc. Gawd awful trying to close my accounts and can't even do that because the people there so horrible.
Avoid this bank. I had a recent fraud committed against me, not Santander Bank. They have blocked my account. It is going on four weeks now. This bank is totally inept. Can you imagine having your account frozen through the holiday season? This is an egregious breach of bank/customer trust. Run, run, run. Avoid them !
I paid off my car through these guys. For like twice what it's worth but that's neither here nor there. What bothers me is that they refuse to report it to any of the 3 the credit bureaus. After everything I've paid they just said they WILL NOT report it because of their own reporting errors. Doesn't make sense. I dodnt do anything wrong. They did. And I have to pay for it
Let me start with the good, then I'll give input on the areas Santander really needs to work on ASAP. I financed my car through Santander and hardly knew who this bank was before I chose them. They gave me the best interest rate. I also love the fact that when ever I call I'm never on hold for more than a minute. But this is where things go bad. In 2021 there is no reason a financial institution of this magnitude does not have an app. Just a simple app would help them run things so much smoother. Also anything I need to do over the phone, they can't do over the phone. I needed to make a payment after I was locked out because for starters when I was in the website would accept my card that I already previously used. Then I forgot my online password and this happened after hours. And when I decided to call, the website basically briefed me that everything I would need help with the agent wouldn't be able to help me. Also Auto pay is a complete hassle to set up. And if your auto pay doesn't go through they won't allow me to set up auto pay for another 6 months. This really has started to bring so much frustration and I'm starting to wish I stayed with my auto loan bank I used previously. Because it feels like Santander is set up to make default on your loan.
received a letter giving me hope of a loan offer, went to the bank my husband and I wasting our time, to get put down again. ..not good people don't do this to people trying to find a way out of debt', we had the funds to pay it back , all we needed was a small loan, not nice , but God will provide.
Terrible, they don’t care about their customers at all. They took my car away and expect me to pay a fee that takes what most people make in a month, they expect me to pay that same amount in a few days. I would never recommend this place to anyone
If this teller behaves like this on a Jet Blue flight then I would be afraid to cone into bank for fear of what she would do. Such bad behavior in such a small space and with children within hearing distance having to feel afraid. Get the woman some mental help.
125 causeway st very bad customer service. They didn’t respect customers not only one day two days nobody in front of me I was waiting 10min they took behind the window they didn’t give me service I never seen bad customer service like this so bad
I'm done with this crappy European Bank and their lousy on-line platform and service. Updated my phone number, now it locks me out of my account every 3 days. Can't send verification text to cell phone because update was within last 30 days.....
Someone called me to schedule an appointment, I agreed and when I walked 15 min to this location, it is closed. Very frustrating and confusing
