I concur with other comments on the web that Sara Hamidi should not be allowed to practice medicine. She is rude, *doesn't listen* and talks over you. She conducts office visits like a lecture; stands with arms crossed talking AT you instead of WITH you. She is dismissive, becomes defensive and tries to intimidate when you, the patient, push back in an "advocate for yourself" capacity. She misdiagnosed my mother's well-known side effect from Prolia treatments as an ear infection and prescribed months worth of antibiotics that did nothing but cause digestive issues. A dentist finally got my mom on the right track. Hamidi's staff blamed "fax machine problems" TWICE when I inquired about a missing specialist referral. Their "dog ate my homework" excuses resulted in an unnecessary, months-long delay in follow-up treatment for chronic pain. Hamidi claims to be a geriatric physician but I saw no evidence of her doing anything more than the absolute minimum and "path of least resistance" for her in treatment planning. Hamidi does not take a proactive, cohesive, "big picture" approach to elderly care. We switched providers and now my mother is in a much better place healthcare wise. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this practice.
I stopped taking my mom there, she felt very uncomfortable with Hamidi’s lack of sympathy, people’s reviews say that she talks over you; yes that’s true.
**WORST MEDICAL CARE PROVIDED** DO NOT use this office for any care regarding your personal health. The receptionists in the office are young & extremely unprofessional. There is no empathy coming from this office. The only thing this office is working for is obtaining your medical insurance. All individuals in this office, including the primary doctor- Sara Hamidi, lack empathy and are rude. YOUR HEALTH CONCERNS WILL NOT BE HEARD, nor documented accurately. The doctor here will do the bare minimum to get you off her back of your health needs. She lied in her initial report stating my grandmother was capable of caring for herself when if fact, she can barely walk or lift her arm to adequately care for herself, which is visibly obvious in the in-person appts we've had here . I've been assisting my grandmother with taking her to & managing her appts. I very quickly acknowledged the poor service this office provides. Not only the young adults managing the office, but the doctor is very rude, insensitive, cut you off when you try to verbalize something, then pretend like you are the problem. You will have to cry your concerns before any actions are made. The only person in this office who is legitimate trying to help/assist you is Theresa, the stand-in doctor. She was wonderful in showing concern and assisting you with your needs, but unfortunately is not there regularly to provide professional care. THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS & SHOULD NOT BE MANAGING THE CARE OF INDIVIDUALS. Any messages relayed through the phones will not be properly reviewed or forwarded. Again, they will LIE to make it seem as if you are the problem. UNPROFESSIONAL, INSENSITIVE, NEG. ATTITUDE & LACK OF RESPONSE. Also, Dr. Sara Hamidi's husband is the individual managing this office. Any concerns or complaints should be forwarded through your medical provider or state medical board. **WORST MEDICAL CARE PROVIDED**
First 2 visits were solid. After that she was very rude and made some very offending comments. She doesn’t let u talk at all and rushes you out the door.she also treated my grandparents terribly. On top of that the front desk workers are super unprofessional. Especially on the phone. Have to call multiple times to get anything done. Got brain MRI 2 years ago and bugged them multiple times to read my results in detail, never got a good explanation once.
Most disrespectful, incompetent, unprofessional, and mean doctor I’ve ever seen. Talks over you. Very combative. Lacks empathy and does not care to listen to your concerns. Don’t waste your time with her. I’m surprised she has not gotten her license revoked. Reporting her to the state board.
I just typed up a LONG detailed review and it was deleted. UHG!!!This Dr office has been a nightmare. I can't even explain the headaches they have caused me. I am no longer a patient there because I simply asked them why my referral was taking so long and they dismissed me as a patient. Just avoid this Dr as much as you can. Terrible care and a definite breach of the Hippocratic Oath. Long story short I have been abandoned as a patient. This Dr should lose her license or at least be reprimanded by the California Board of Medicine for not following through with the medical care she recommended. Absolutely crazy that this is how a Dr would conduct themselves. I am a veteran and she was the only Dr in my town that would accept my health coverage. i was very grateful, but found out I was just as well not going to her. She did nothing for me, but she was quick to charge the VA for your tax dollars. What a disgrace.
Horrible horrible... Please save your valued time to avoid visiting this office. I did a lot of research prior to visiting and wanted to give it a shot although I saw negatives reviews. Well now I am here to confirm those negative reviews are a true fact. This doctor has no sympathy for her clients, does not even acknowledge your concerns in a professional manner and acts rushed. As she walks in she saids "what can I do for you?". No hi how are you!?.nothing... She seemed bothered and annoyed. It almost seemed as she didn't want to help me. The staff is not welcoming at all and you feel the difference of treatment to different insurances. I witnessed that when A client stated she was other than medical. The receptionist was extremely rude and had an attitude. Save the hassle of bring treated different and don't visit this office. I would give ZERO STARS BUT I CANT....
It’s like she finds the worst employees to work for her or something. She was my doctor for roughly 3 years, and in that entire time I never received a single greeting from any staff. They’re all rude. My last appointment was a year ago. I waited on a referral to a rheumatologist for months. Never received it. Calling to ask did nothing to help. Do yourself a favor and choose another doctor. Edit: Also, all these glowing reviews from people with their name in all caps is fishy.
Save yourself the hassle and maybe some money and find yourself a better doctor’s office. I’ve had a lot of annoyances with this office and doctor… and I’ve only been there twice, over a year ago. Tonight I get a message from Andrea saying I have a bill past due 120 days and that they are going to send me to collections. This is the second time they have threatened to send me to collections! The first time was for a bill I hadn’t even received from my insurance yet and this time was for a $60 bill I ALREADY paid. When I spoke with Andrea in the doctor’s office she had NO information about the bill. I haven’t been a patient there for a year, so when is this bill from? What is the service I’m being billed for? When was the first bill sent to me? NO ANSWERS. She just kept telling me they don’t do the billing in the office and I have to call this other company who handles their billing. Okay fine. I call the company and speak with Zuleika, who informs me I HAVE paid the bill but it wasn’t applied. It was their mistake and they had not even taken the initial steps to send me to collections. I don’t know how they keep any of their patients when they threaten to send people to collections without having all or any! information. The doctor seems to be a nice enough lady, but I question some of her business practices. She diagnosed me with a health condition and wanted to order some special testing. I told her I had crappy insurance at the time so couldn’t pay for it, but she said I had “really good” insurance. I had a high deductible so thankfully I never did get that test because it would have been out of pocket and not covered by my insurance. I’ve been evaluated by 3 health care professionals since then and none of them have found that condition or wanted to order the test she did. Makes me wonder…but with all that I wouldn’t and didn’t write a bad review until her office acted so unprofessionally about a bill I had already paid a year ago!
Dr. Hamidi was very professional and caring. However, her staff is rude and incompetent. They specialize in telling patients to “go have a seat.” She hires very young medical assistants, and I am not comfortable discussing my medical issues with an 18-year-old.
