Somebody asked me the other day "why do you like the doTERRA products so much?" Hmmm I think because I started out professionally as a massage therapist back in 1981, I had been exposed to many types of natural therapeutic oils.....and they went bad.......so I wasn't impressed with aromatic oils.....barely used them, never studied much about them. Then I became pregnant with my first child.......Jessica.............she had horrible ear aches like her father, and I regularly used Homeopathic remedies and herbs which helped some, used the chiropractor and the acupuncturist, ate a strict diet.....and we struggled to study as much as possible on our own on alternative health modalities. (Did I mention we started with antibiotics x2 and realized she just got them back, so we stopped and used the above natural modalities). My kids popped vitamins, herbs, tinctures, homeopathics, ear candling (it works), acupressure, don't forget infant massage, did I mention homeopathic physicians, Chinese twig teas...... from classically trained Chinese acupuncturist's.....I could go on. But you don't want to hear more.......suffice it to say after 30 years I find doTERRA fairly easy to grasp and understand with a couple of books, wonderful support staff online, networking support online. No waiting 1 hour between meals before taking remedies.......yes they're are some dos and don'ts but please......so much easier!!! This is not just for the "alternative crowd" ....this is a wonderful product line committed to meeting mainstream America where they are and giving CHOICES in Health care approaches. Which we need, more people are allergic to more prescription medications than at any other time....WHY? I have been a Licensed Midwife delivered babies in homes and birth centers, now I work as a Registered Nurse...and help assist babies in hospitals....(yes hard to believe)but GOD has me there for a season. I still believe breastmilk IS THE MOST IMPORTANT gift you can give your baby even if it's drops of.......and I now see GOD created these oils when" pure" to continue to heal us as well. Massage therapist, to doula, to midwife apprentice, to Bradley instructor, to Infant Massage Instructor, to Licensed Midwife, to Lactation Consultant, to Registered Nurse, to IBCLC Lactation Consultant, all of these roles have exposed me to multiple natural alternative healing modalities.......truly doTERRA, gift of the Earth, has been the most remarkable.
