Students at Sarasota Christian School are uniquely equipped to achieve Gods plan for their lives. We are fully accredited and offer a pre – k through 12th grade program, fine arts, athletics, and dual enrollment.
For over 50 years, Sarasota Christian School has been providing academically challenging, Biblically-infused curriculum to its students. The independent Christian institution offers Pre-K through 12th grade education on a 25-acre campus in scenic Sarasota, Florida.
Sarasota Christian School is fully-accredited to ensure that academic standards and curriculum are up-to-date and among the best. Classroom concepts are connected from Pre-K through 12th grade through curriculum mapping, which exceeds Florida State standards.
In addition to core subjects, students are able to take courses in fine arts, performing arts, Bible, business, technology, social sciences, and more. Our on-site dual enrollment program offers high school students the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credit hours while keeping them in small classes and a Christian environment. All students participate in regular classroom devotions, small group meetings, and/or daily chapels.
Sarasota Christian School students enjoy small class sizes and individual attention from accomplished and attentive Christian faculty, 60% of which have a master’s or doctorate degree. Teachers keep parents informed of their student’s progress, and parents are encouraged to become involved in the school community.
Students are invited to join in a variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics, clubs, enrichment programs (such as Odyssey of the Mind), and individual and school-wide service projects (high school students complete 150 hours of community service—double the state standard).
