The fire dept tested fire hydrants in our neighborhood today and didn’t tell any of the residents. We had dirt running through all of our plumbing and most people in our neighborhood had this same issue for hours. My dad drank the water before noticing it and it made him very sick. Why are we not warned when tests like this are done? I get that it has to be tested, but there has to be a way for us to be notified that this is going to happen. This is dangerous to our health and could even damage our hot water heater if we run it with dirt in the line.
Last night all of our carbon monoxide/smoke detectors went off in the middle of the night. When I turned them off, they would turn right back on - until I opened our windows which made me think there was a carbon monoxide leak. We felt dumb calling for help but figured it was much better than the alternative of assuming it was nothing. The fire department never made us feel dumb, were super professional and from our interaction you could tell they were great guys.
I was involved in an accident on HWY 73 near the fire station. I could literally watch them coming the whole way. Their response time out the door was excellent. They were professional and thorough in their assessment of injury and in securing the scene to prevent secondary incidents. Nicely done gentlemen!
It's a very very good Pokémon gym

Who reviews a fire dept? "Hey my house was on fire and they put it out. 10/10 would recommend."
