While I didn't technically deal with anyone personally I was able to drop off a car trailer after hrs on a Sunday so I could drive back early Monday morning. Simple process and they closed out the reservation in the AM while I was on the road. Dropping or renting from there is convenient.
This place saved us. We were in an accident on the way up to camp at the KOA and we ruined our trailer jack. Jodi was so awesome and waited for us to get there even after they closed. She even called to check on us to make sure we were OK. I would go back here in a heartbeat. They saved our trip. Mack & Brie thank you so much..
The staff is really nice and understanding but do not rent a uhaul from here and count on it happening. Twice I have reserved and given payment info, once online and once in person. And they have no trailer or options for me the day of. I’m sure this is not their fault and it’s a larger issue but they have guaranteed it wouldn’t happen again and it does. So just beware and don’t fully count on your reservation being fulfilled because this location has serious inventory issues. Could be a worse issue in April May June
I would make it a minus 5 stars if I could. My wife and I drove up from the Austin TX area to go camping with some friends who live near Denver. We went to Hahns Peak to camp. While backing the RV in to our camping spot we heard a metal-on- metal noise coming from the passenger side wheels if the camper. I pulled both wheels and inspected the brakes and discovered that adjuster springs were bad on both of the axles. My buddy and I drove down to Steamboat Springs the next day and the local auto parts stores directed us to Sasak Trailers. I talk with Larry Sasak in person and he told me he didn't have any of parts I need in stock. After a few minutes he said he would go down stairs and look and see what he could find. He came back up with the part I needed. I told him really needed to get two of the springs and he repeated the process by going back down stairs and returned with the second assembly. Both of these parts were very dirty and covered with brake dust and rust. When I asked him about them he said he removed them from an old axle he had downstairs. When I asked him what I owed him for the two used parts, he made a call to a part supplier and then he told me including $18 for shipping I owed him $50. I asked him why I had to pay new price for use parts and why I had to pay for shipping on parts that he removed from an old axle downstairs. He told me he had to replace the parts. Since none of the auto parts stores in town had the parts I need, I purchased the parts. Talk about taking advantage of people, he is a master. 7/28/2022 - I checked with the manufacture of the axle for our RV Lippert and they list the adjuster Screw Kit/electric brakes for $7.95 each.
Went here to pick up a U-Haul auto transport after many annoying last-minute changes done by the U-Haul reservation office and I'm so glad we went here. Jodi was so friendly and fun, and we were nervous about using an auto trailer for the first time, and she called upon the owner, Larry, to help us hook up the trailer as well as painstakingly load our lowered vehicle with numerous planks of wood onto the trailer. Thank goodness for both of them. I don't think we would have received that level of service anywhere else.
Awesome service, the salesperson went above and beyond to make sure my Uhaul was safe and functional, including crawling around on his hands and knees in the snow to make sure the lights were hooked up correctly and operational. Highly recommend, great service.
Always good experience with trailer and uhaul needs
We drove in with several problems on our rig. The whole team at Sasak was SUPER HELPFUL. They even parked our rig for several days and had an electrical line run to it to keep our refrigerator from failing. They worked with our warranty to get the rig repaired and explained the whole process to me, an RV novice, so that we can better utilize the rig. Thanks to the whole Sasak team. We would recommend them anyone passing through or to the locals!
Possibly one of the best experiences I have ever had at a service provider. Larry could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable and Jodi was fantastic. Thank you so much to both of you, I wish I lived closer by so I could use your service more often.
Sasak Trailers did a great job installing a truck bed on my 2010 Dodge ram and getting my 2017 Elite stock combo trailer fixed back to factory specifications after it was rear-ended.. Larry is a great person to work with. It was the insurance company that was the issue. And Larry did a great job dealing with that.. IMO if you need a truck bed or need some work done on a Trailer. Sasak Trailers is the place in Steamboat springs to go.
