Shop there every week! Their bacon in a bag is a good buy. We don't mind cutting the big slices thinner. Store has good meat prices. Love their assortment of nuts & nice assortment of dips when I make a Veggie Tray for Get Togethers . Bring your own bags. Sometimes they have empty boxes you can use to pack & carry your purchases. Wonderful place to shop.
This was a change from where I normally go- usually I go to the Lakewood NY location and this visit was at Corry PA. I was very disappointed with their meat selection! Ny is WAY better! The store was very clean and organized but there was not much to pick from in the meat section, and that's usually the bulk of my shopping at Save A Lot.
You close at 9 on Saturdays but you leave at 4:23 lol that why I don’t shop here no more
Opened a bag of crinkle cut fries and there is way too many dark green/black fries in there and melted gummy bears
I personally like the meat and produce better than Wal-Mart and definitely better than Sanders. In the summer they have local produce which is a winner in my book. And the prices are great I always check there first
Best meat department around. Meat is always excellent quality. Even on Sunday afternoons there is wonderful selection. The meat manager is conscientious and responsive to customer questions and requests. No hiding fat or lesser grade meat under better meat in the package like other meat departments. Can't say enough good things about Save-A-Lot meat department.
No frills. They use a Quarter to unlock shopping carts get it back by return of cart. You also have to bring your own bags, and do your own bagging. I am personally a fan of these ideas as it keeps the lot uncluttered, and plastic out of our oceans. This store is older and a little bit smaller than most, so they don't have a lot of choice, but as the name suggests, you can save a lot of you choose wisely.
Good selection of off-brand and name-brand foodstuffs. Their "pick 5 for $19.99" is a really good deal for what else is offered in town or the area. But if you can spare the extra gas and time, go to an Aldi store. Their prices are better and their food is better.
I love that I can feed a family of 5 on a small budget.. plus the lines move quickly so if I r on a time limit schedule this is the place to go. I spent less then 200 today and got a good selection of items I needed

Thank you so very much. For helping us with this. Who is a local volunteer fire fighter. Fighting chronic Kidney failure for a time.
