This is a small park located near an elementary school. It is a very cute park with a baseball motif. The park is surrounded by a tall fence, allowing even little children to play safely. Also, the park is very clean and well maintained. I would like to use this park again.
Although the entire park was quite new, but it is poorly designed or operated for team sports at present. The original playground has been moved closer to parking lots, which was great, but still tiny in space. The original softball field was turned into a synthetic turf soccer field, but pulling equipment from parking for youth teams need some efforts. For youth teams using the inner baseball field for games, there was no drive through drop off places! We had to use two wagon carts and walked a few bumpy and up down minutes, then rolled down through a steep grass fall down to our dugout. The signs should be improved for any possible assistance.
Clean and few families there when we went. The kids had a good time and we ate snacks under the shade. The park had different parts to it which was helpful!
Nice kids park, with a tennis court and basket ball court. Also walk paths if you prefer to walk.
The school they put right in the middle of the public park is AWFUL!! Why take away a well-loved and used space???
Parking is limited. There used to be open sports fields with parking lots for the public. They built an elementary school where the parking lot and soccer field was. This left the two baseball fields in tack making access to baseball field #3 difficult to get to without walking a couple hundred yards. Not the best set up for community use of these baseball fields. The soccer field was replaced with outdoor play space for the elementary school.
Great park for kids to play and be safe. And its quiet
So the baseball fields are there, but the park seems to have been taken over by construction and does not look as if it will be coming back. The baseball fields are in decent shape, no restrooms available and parking for the field in the back requires driving around the main field.
Please never tear down. I have seen signs that they want to tear down this park. Hope it never happens. We love this place. We bike here every spring and fall and we dont live near by. However, this park is great for kids, pets, and adults, offers something for everyone.
Great park. I grew up playing here and now I take my kids when we visit the grand parents. Its a shame they want to pave it over. There are lots of great patches of old growth forest nearby.
