Went to Savers-Newington on a recommendation of a friend. I needed a chair. The store was clean and organized, and the staff were very nice. I found a chair for $13! After about 30 minutes of scrubbing it's good as new! I would highly recommend Savers in Newington.
A store that sells clothing with no fitting rooms and the return policy sucks. Why am I going to use $30 worth of time and gas to come back to your store within 2 weeks to exchange smelly overpriced $15 pants when your selection of this particular size is non existent? NO THANKS. I want my money back!! Even more reason to never return here. Walmart across the street sells pants for the same price, with all the selection, fitting rooms, and return policy you could ask for. And if you do try exchanging your item, they WILL NOT process the exchange if the amount they have to give back to you is over $2. These guys put corporate greed as a priority over your needs. STAY AWAY.
Have always found great deals BUT their prices have clearly gone up significantly. Staff is nice and the store is clean and relatively neat. Very disappointed that they don't have dressing rooms anymore though
Everything tends to be extremely overpriced for used stuff. There were things I found new on Amazon cheaper than they're selling them at Savers.
Better then Manchester one for sure, was able to find better dress pants, bottom-up shirts short and long sheeves. staff was helpful, postive and reminding all Customers we get new clothes each day! That what i call business they had so much stuff i neededhad to leave some behind. i'm coming back with bags sooner this month! 5-stars for sure prices were cheap and new clothes
The place is clean the clothes are spectacular the customer service is great!
Used to be a great place for bargains but whoever is doing pricing now is completely out of their mind. Might as well purchase products new now. Your inventory is free, this is eBay prices.
I love this place, but the prices are out of control. A lot of their used things are priced like new ones. $2.99 is too much for used DVDs, $12 for a used sweatshirt is way too much, and no way am I paying $15 for a used pair of pants. I don't care how good the condition is, it's stuff they got for free. Despite this, they always have better stuff then other thrift stores, the location is great and the staff are nice.
Go buy clothes new at the mall, everything is overpriced and expensive here at Savers. The prices used to reasonable, but they are overpricing items that are FREE and DONATIONS for them. People donate instead of throwing the items away, at this point I rather throw away everything because they are abusing it. No fitting rooms either, which doesn’t make any sense. The items are priced as if they were new, so why don’t they provide the same services and return policy that bigger organizations do? Complete Waste of TIME and $$$$, don’t donate or give them free money with you donations. This store is absolutely terrible.
Very nice thrift store, well organized and excellent deals! The employees were very helpful and courteous.
