I never had a barber shop that was "my place" until Saving Face opened in Manlius. Although I pretty much book appointments with the same barber now, I've had my haircut by many, if not all, of the staff and have never been disappointed. There has been some turnover, but that's too be expected. The barbers here are all young professionals who have already honed their skills well and know their market. They're knowledgeable about the classic styles, but more importantly listen to what you want. Top notch!
You'll find a great vibe & friendly service here. Additionally the space decor has a modern, urban feel that'll remind you a bit of city loft spaces from somewhere like Portland, OR which I LOVE. My barber Dan Kunzinger does a great job with the cut and making you feel welcome. This is an awesome spot!
Very impressed. I saw a guy with a great haircut and asked where he got it and he recommended this place. I called up and booked an appointment. It was very easy, and I like the automated system that texted me the confirmation and reminders. Showed up a bit early for my appointment but walked around the streets a bit to see the other stores, and the area is quite nice, I usually just drive through on my way to Syracuse. My barber was available at the appointment time. He was very personable and gave a great cut. The other stylists in the shop were very friendly as well. The shop has a cool vibe with retro touches. I liked it! The brick-like wallpaper was a nice touch to give the place a more historic feel. The waiting area had some tvs, nice chairs nicely spaced apart too a mini fridge with waters, and some type of game table for kids. I think there might be a back area, but didn’t check it out this time. There were four stylists in the area I was getting my haircut, and everyone’s haircuts looked good. Check out was fast and easy. Haircut was decently priced. I didn’t feel like I was on a conveyor belt and being rushed out. Actually looking forward to my next haircut there.

My son and husband both go here and love the atmosphere and service! Very reasonably priced for this level of skill. Thank you for taking care of my nervous toddler and keeping my husband looking sharp!
