After spending a half hour in the children’s section we approached an associate for assistance only to be told that we needed to sign in. We were 4th on the list. One hour later we were finally helped. When we walked into the store it would have been nice to have been greeted and explained what to do.
I went today shortly after noon with my daughter to pick out some fun crocks. I easily could’ve purchased some online but wanted someone to fit my daughter. The experience started off poor and never got better. Nobody greeted us even though 3 employees were standing around watching us come in. Nobody was there to assist us in the kids section, so I did my best to fit her myself. After finally figuring out what size looked right, we went to the counter to which the experience really fell off. The only employee at the front desk made it seem like we were an inconvenience to be there. Never smiled once. Asked who my sales associate was, to which I responded “nobody was there to help” She didn’t skip a beat and continued to asking for my phone number. After spending 35% more than I expected after looking online I left without any type of “thanks for coming” or even “have a nice day” I’d compare this experience to a 2nd hand store, not a high end Short Pump retail store. I liked Saxon Shoes better when they had quality service to back the quality shoes
Amazing customer service and quality products. Sorry I didn't a pic of the new shoe out of the box...they were super cute! I visited the store to grab nursing clogs. It would have been great to know what feaux letter options were available
5 Stars! A+. What a great shoe store with lots of styles. And they had my size!!! After muddled experiences elsewhere, I was so happy to find Saxon's. Clean, bright, organized, helpful, friendly! I can't say enough nice things about them!
A woman associate accused my 2 year old daughter of stealing a display shoe when we walked out with a toy in her hand that she had walked in with... She actually chased after us and looked very silly and rude after she realized the critical mistake she made. I used to come here as a kid but it’s gone down hill completely.
Great shoes but every time I go in there, whether they’re crowded or not, I have to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes to get an associate to bring me the shoes I would like to try on. Today I decided to give them another try. They were crowded with 3 visible employees. One working the register and 2 waiting on customers. I looked around and found 3 pairs of shoes I wanted to try on. I waited about 40 minutes while they finished with the other customers. As soon as one clerk finished, he immediately went over to help another woman who walked in after me.he had made eye contact with me several times and told me he’d be with me in a few minutes. I’m done with them even though I wear mostly Birkenstocks and have bought a few thousand dollars worth of shoes from them over the years.
This is a great all around shoe store. They have good discounts, including one for everything you buy the month of your birthday. Their selection is pretty good, though sometimes it can be hard to find exactly what you want. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They are great with working with and fitting kids as well.
Chris was very accommodating, very elegant, very pleasant. I got the exact shoes I wanted, the store was very comfortable--well-spaced and cool, it had good air quality. They had excellent selection variety and excellent prices. I've been an internet shopper for quite some time since I was like 10 or 11 years old in like 1998, but it's really an example of when going back to a brick and mortar store which I haven't done much of since like 2003 was exciting, refreshing, and better than shopping online.
A great shoe store with a large selection and helpful employees
Plenty of shoes and plenty of help. I saw a good variety of items. They also have excellent deals in the backroom.
