The friendly and helpful staff helped me find a really stylish and comfortable pair of leather loafers. Excellent quality and great selection of clothing accessories. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone shopping for hand crafted quality items.

Really great independently owned shop. While they do have very high quality brands that come in at the expected price point, the first thing I was shown were items on sale to try and find the best value for me possible. Definitely will go back.

Every visit is memorable! I have been shopping at Scarpelta’s for years. They have the best quality shoes, bags and accessories in the city. The service, knowledge, and selection cannot be beat!  Having a small family business on a historic block Denver’s original Main Street is so rare and special these days. They carry a large selection for men and women and are a Denver staple. This place is amazing. It reminded me of when I was a little girl and we would go into a shoe store and they would really take care of you. Sadly, this is not a common experience anymore. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the shoes and the complicated sizing every brand is different, especially when you are working with foreign brands. They carry only shoes of high quality - shoes that will last for decades. It's a very high-end store, but the saleswoman and the owner, Phil, are so friendly and welcoming. I rarely write reviews, but these folks really blew me away, go right now and buy some shoes! Support this local gem.

I have shopped at this store often and love buying my shoes here.  In the past I have always been helped by a male one of the owners I think that is very helpful and really goes the extra mile.  Today when I went in for shoes there was an older blonde female working.  She never greeted me or acknowledged I was in the store.  She greeted the other couples that walked in but for some reason I was invisible to her.  Maybe its cause I was wearing shorts, a tee-shirt and flip flops.  I felt like pretty woman.  I will just order my shoes online this time.  For the record I waited for 15 minutes even for all other couples to leave to get help and she still never looked at me!!

I had such a great experience at this store. The owner is remarkably knowledgeable and walked me through the precise fit and care for the shoes I bought. It’s rare to come across a shop with such dedication and knowledge of their craft. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Quality store. The young man tending the store assured me the Secrid wallet I purchased would break in like a leather glove after I tried stuffing the contents of my old wallet in to no avail. It’s the best wallet I’ve owned. I’m sure the shoes here are great too.
