Scarsdale Public Library
The Scarsdale Public Library is a community space for reading, reflection, research and more. It features several reading rooms, a voluminous reference area and many individual-sized workstations.
Among the highlights are Large Print collection, Local history (including an extensive photograph collection), Historic American newspapers and English-as-a Second Language.
The library hosts reading discussion groups and rents out large rooms for community use. It is assisted in furthering its role as an integral part of Scarsdale with the help of Friends of the Library, an 800-member organization devoted to helping raise funds for the library and spearhead needed projects.
