If you are looking for an exceptional restaurant, I assure you... look no more. The prices are very reasonable, the food is absolutely delicious, and the view is, exactly as the name portrays.... Scenic! While you're enjoying the view, order a bloody Mary that was voted to be the best in Bloomington, Indiana. Food: 5/5
This is a hidden in plain sight gem! Right off the highway but you don't want to miss it. Great food, friendly service and a pretty view! Oh they make a delicious Bloody Mary. Vegetarian options: The veggie burger wrap was wonderful! Loads of mushrooms, artichoke hearts and peppers wrapped in a cheddar tortilla with a bean burger.

The food is almost always consistent and excellent, and there’s something for everyone. Service has a tendency to be slow at times but it is a rather large place with significant outdoor seating as the main draw and so weather fluctuations likely make it difficult to predict crowd sizes. Regardless of the speed, the waitstaff are always super friendly, polite, and accommodating. One of my favorite places to eat between the months of April to October, but even stopping by in the winter with their indoor seating can be a pleasant change of pace!
I messaged scenic view on Facebook to confirm that I could make a reservation for our party of five today. The general manager Jessica was great and even asked if we needed a highchair for our little one. Our friends and I enjoyed a beautiful 65° morning overlooking lake Monroe. The service was on point and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again soon. Thanks for a great morning!

Great view. The foodbreakfast was very good. Service was professional and attentive. I had the Breakfast Bowl with a side of bacon the first time I went, 3/5 stars on flavor. The second time I went I had the Smothered Burrito with a half order of B&G. Smothered burrito was 5/5 on flavor, excellent! Biscuits and gravy or ok but nothing special, 3/5 on flavor. Definitely recommend the Smothered Breakfast Burrito!
We ordered Scenic View delivery the other day and it was the best we've probably had delivered. We liked it so much we actually ordered a large order of biscuits and gravy the next week to take with us out of town. They worked with us to make sure we had the best experience when we got to our destination. It was super easy and delicious. 10/10 would do again.
Great out of the way place. The Bloody Mary, French Onion soup and Mini Key Lime pie were all very good.Food: 5/5
The tempura pork tenderloin sandwich was delicious. The Benedict burger Angus beef patty, ham, mushrooms, and egg on an English muffin with Hollandaise was also delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They source ingredients locally when possible. It's a homey spot; the atmosphere was very casual. The view of the lake from the patio was very pretty. The service was outstanding. All these things combined to make for a very enjoyable dining experience.
