This place was deserted. There’s lots of seating and the decor was of hunters classic BBQ place. The food was ok, and we we’re still hungry after we had our meals. The prices were on the higher side. I was interested in the salad bar, but it wasn’t anything special. The staff were pleasant and nice. And there’s lots of free parking and it’s off a side road Google Map gps suggested.

The food is really here, I see lots of terrible reviews and I would just like to say, it really depends what you get. Some things are better and worse than others. And sometimes it just the day, some days the food just isn’t as good as others! But this is my opinion on the restaurant!Food: 5/5

Although our neighbors referred us to this restaurant because they enjoy the catfish and cold beer, our experience was awful. My husband ordered the sirloin steak special which came with a side salad and potato. The steak was so tough, he could barely cut it. He had two bites and it tasted awful. He does not eat salad, so he asked if he could substitute for mac and cheese. The portion of the mac and cheese came in a tiny plastic cup that you would serve salad dressing in. Because he substituted the side salad for the mac and cheese, we were up charged $3.70 for this item which was a forkful. I ordered the pulled pork dinner which came with a potato and another side, in which I chose the baked beans which came in the same salad dressing size container as the mac and cheese my husband ordered. With the dinner, you could order the salad bar for an additional $2.95, which I opted to do. The salad bar had quite a few items, however, I had only a small plate of iceberg lettuce, 2 tomato pieces and dressing. The pulled pork looked and tasted like it had been made a week ago. It was completely dried out as you can see by the pictures, and honestly, I took one small bite, and it tasted like dirty dish water. I did eat the small portion of beans that were good and the part of the potato that was not hard. When our waitress came to bring our bill, she noticed both our plates were still full. She asked if we wanted boxes to take our meals home. I explained the meats were awful and we could not eat them. She again asked if we wanted boxes to bring it home. I said no thank you and she handed us our bill for $46.79 and said I can take that up when you are ready. I asked if she could speak with her manager because we could not eat most of our meal, and if the bill could be adjusted. She left with the bill and came back with a new one for $36.43. It made no sense to us, so we asked her to explain it. They decided to remove my pulled pork meal for and charge me full price for the salad bar as if I had chosen it for a meal. We just wanted to leave so we paid it and I stopped at the hostess desk on the way out and asked to speak with the manager. The woman at the desk explained there is no manager on duty and that they decided on hat to do with our bill. We shook our heads and left. This was, by far, the worst place we have eaten in FL since we moved her 9 months ago. The owners should be embarrassed to serve this food. Please see the pictures below. Wasted $55 eating here. First time I tried it due to staying in the area. I ordered 2 baby back rib plates. Yuck yuck yuck. The ribs were tough, without flavor, and fatty. The sides were awful. Ordered the baked beans canned tastes better the macaroni and cheese was worse than boxed mac and cheese, and even the coleslaw had no taste. I happened to order an unsweetened tea, and that was honestly the best part of the purchase. I'm really disappointed. I would not recommend, especially if you've had good BBQ before.

Sometimes a restaurant could be a bad day a person is having, however, there is no reason to keep screwing up especially since I was very nice through it all. I ordered beef ribs. I was given pork ribs, when I pointed it out, I was told, "oh, it is?" Server took the plate back to the kitchen then came back and said "oh, I guess we don't have beef ribs, only beef slices or pulled beef". They took so long to get the sliced beef after being told it would take a few minutes. Lucky for me, their salad bar was good. They have an awesome, must try beef soup. I asked for my food to go. The person couldn't even get my ticket so I can pay my bill, waited almost 10 minutes. People were nice. They just couldnt get it together today.

This is one of the best restaurants in winter haven, some of there best foods are chicken and dumping soup! Then there fries and ranch are delicious! To early for lunch? Those biscuits and gravy are also delicious! This is a great restaurant with great service and food! Anita is a great waiter if you looking for a fast meal!

This place has a lot of nerve calling it a barbecue joint let alone a restaurant. While the food wasn't spoiled that was about the only thing good I could say about it. All of the food that I got was dry and lacked any flavor. The mac and cheese was at utter joke it's not even worth describing how bad it was I really don't know how this place has survived except that there are so few options in the region that locals have nowhere else to go. Plus it was ridiculously expensive . I'd suggest going to any fast food franchise before going here again it's a shame because they carry a name and they're not standing up to it. They should get their act together or just close up

Delicious food and omg it smells sooo good! Hubby had ribs and they were juicy and fell off the bone! I had the delicious wings! So so good! Will definitely be back!

Ribs were very dry and hard, chicken was super dry and both had no flavor. The beans tasted like they came from a can, mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like KFC, and the macaroni and cheese was from the freezer. Stouffers tastes better. Would not recommend, plus the lady at the counter was rude and not helpful at all. Almost $80 on 3 plates with 4 ribs and barley half a chicken and sides that are super small, do not go!

The best hush puppies and pork sandwich I have ever had! Love the salad bar and my husband enjoyed the all you can eat ribs. We will be back!!!Food: 5/5
