Terrible atmosphere! Blood and gore strewn every which way, the boy mopping the floor was smoking a BLUNT, and banshees or some other such apparition were flying to and fro! But the man working the counter was quite helpful and nice so four stars

Loved the potato salad and broccoli salad except the onions, personal preference. I’m excited to try the homemade chili! Asked about smoked salmon and even though they didn’t carry it, they said they would get some and took my info to let me know when it came in. very happy customer.

I love our local meat market. Always smells delicious and always tastes as amazing as it smells. Always fast, clean and really friendly service. Definitely a #1 in my book or a 10 however you look at it either way they have always been 100% satisfactory in my book. Keep up the great work

For a small town meat market, this is it. Few groceries and bakery products from Cold Spring Bakery. As for the meat, decent selection. Not everything is out but the best sellers and specials. I'm sure if you asked, they may have it in back or will get it for you. Everything looked fresh. We got some sirloin, pork steak, bacon, beef sticks, and jerky. All of it was great and highly recommended. Their beef jerky is what I think of when describing it. Thin, seasoned, not too dry, pulled apart in strings, and right amount of chew. Will definitely stop when traveling through as I'm interested in trying the sausage and brats.

Gotta say our family has been going to this meat market for a long time every time we go up to the cabin. Gotta say really really really great meats. They also have a lot of different kinds of brautwurst flavors. My family's favorite is the wild rice variety. They make a great jalapeno cheddar kind. They got great cuts of meat 100% awesome

One of my absolute favorite places for meats. I ask for beef cheeks they get them, I ask for gigantic prime choice tomohawk ribeye steaks they make it happen. The meat here is amazing and the staff is equally amazing! Thank you everyone at Schaefer's meats for helping me out and providing me with the absolute best meat and service available anywhere period.

Best meat and service that we have ever experienced in any meat market!

I have been buying meat from here for years. Unfortunately I have seen quality of the meat decrease as the price has increased. Since the new owner acquired a few years back I have been very dissapointed by everything from flavor, tenderness, and even packaging and labeling black permanent marker not to mention prices are ridiculously high. It's a shame what change brings. Rick Marty...no longer a customer

Great place for meat and cheese. Although the selection of seasonings was only one brand.. The interior was a mix of 1960's, and newer tongue and groove walls. We'll go back, but they could do better..
