Scheben Branch Library

Great library for toddlers and young children. They have a whole area upstairs just for children. They have a train set, a giant light bright, Legos, wooden puzzles, and keyboards just for play! They also do little classes for children of all ages, from infants & toddlers, to older children. They do special readings programs that give prizes to littles for readings. I'd highly recommend for families with small children!

It’s such a good place. Really big one with different sections for kids, adult and other categories. There are different events/activities happening around which are good to participate and get involved into.

Great activities provided throughout the week. The staff are very helpful! We mainly spend time in the children section, there are nice play tables available.

The folks here are so helpful. I couldn't get my Libby app set up, so I went in and they set it up for me.

They do a phenomenal job with children's programming. Always something fun going on! We love going as a family and checking out what's new.

We absolutely love the library, but one of the ladies that works in the children’s area should not be there. I think her personality would be more suited for the adult area. The environment is frigid and unfriendly.

Great library, part of the Boone County Public Library system. if you have a library card, you can check out any book/video in the system. It also allows you to reserve meeting rooms for your use. This branch has a great collection for the younger readers.

Not a safe place for autistic children. One of the librarians in the children’s section told me my daughter needs a sedative to come to the library this morning. Infestation of bullies, I should’ve asked if she recommended ambien or if Benadryl would suffice for my almost 3 year old.
