Schewels on Timberlake went above and beyond to get me a new mattress. I'd ordered a mattress in a box last summer and was never really satisfied with it. Fortunately, I could get a refund and get rid of it. I searched the local big local retailers offering mattresses and finally settled on a Beautyrest. The sales people at the stores were all nice. However, the staff at Schewels went further. They exceeded my expectations when it came to my questions and the price I paid. Big thanks to Roger, Neal and the store GM. Your team knocked it out of the park. Thanks again!
I found the perfect couch for my home but there were issues as soon as I was ready to purchase. I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to process my order that was a cash sale. They told me that someone would call me the day before my delivery date to provide a 4hr window for the delivery. I never received a call so I called the store about 10 minutes before closing and the lady that answered stated that I would get a call after they closed. I didn't want to wait because if they didn't call after closing, then I wouldn't be able to find out because they would be closed! She acted like it was too much trouble to check the computer to give me the time but eventually she did. I was almost ready to just cancel the order right then because of the attitude that I received. The day of delivery, I received a call from the delivery driver 30 minutes past my 4hr time frame, that they were on the way. They finally arrived and delivered my couch without issue so that was good. We are enjoying the couch but I would prefer to take the rest of my business elsewhere from now on. Good product but poor service.
My mom and I were greeted by your sales associate when we entered the store. He listened to what our needs were and directed us to the area of the store where we could find our selections. He thoroughly explained the features, finance options, and warranty for the item. We highly recommend Schewels! Thank you, sales associate Neal, for your excellent customer service!
We love Schewel's! Great selections and great people. We have used a sales associate named Linda for three separate buys this year and she is top notch, as are all the others who have served us there. They have an amazing 5 year extended furniture warranty that if not used you get your money back! Honestly, it seems foolish not to shop around but with internet you can walk in knowing what you want and what the going price will likely be. Therefore, we don't even bother to shop around, it's not worth the time and hassle. We give them our highest rating! 2022 almost 2 years later and we returned and were treated the same way. They are an amazing team from the salesperson, who was Ed, to the store manager Corey, to the two young men who delivered our furniture today, on time as promised! They are simply the BEST!
Neal was amazing! We could not make up our minds on recliners and he spent over an hour with us choosing the right ones, then we changed our minds and he didn't even bat an eye and went right back to showing us more. The only issue I had was that we were shown ones that were not in shock which we did specifically say we didn't want to do. Also the stores should have a better system of sharing inventory, so we could know what a different store had if that one didn't have it.
Went in looking for a new bedroom set, we spoke with Jessica about a few sets but unfortunately none of the sets we liked had everything in stock. We came back when the manager Corey was in to see if there was anything we could do about our favorite set and he made things really easy for us. We ended up walking out with the full set and other things we needed with just having to wait on some pieces while they try to get them in for us. Jessica was great the entire time and helpful, Corey was great as well, neither applied any pressure to the sales and just made the experience a lot smoother even with getting some issues with delivered pieces corrected.
The experience was great, we were able to get almost everything we needed in one place, staff was friendly and professional. Gave us the best deals they could on everything we got.. highly recommend. And may end up going back for more stuff.. happy customer here!!!
Pros: I worked with Neil at the Lynchburg Va location. I purchased the products I’d seen online and was happy with Neil’s attentiveness. Mable in financial is a character and a joy to work with. Cons: The website needs to be updated. The products I purchased were labeled as no longer available and everything else was identified as a 6-12 week wait. Because of this I almost blew Schewels off assuming they didn’t have what I wanted.
Message: We just pi led up 2 recliners at your Lynchburg Virginia store and found out the sales rep sold us a floor model. We were led to believe by her that they were both brand new in boxes at the time of purchase. I told the sales lady that and she said it would take 12 WEEKS to get another....the furniture this is replacing is already gone so we had to take these or sit on the floor. We asked for a discount for the used one and she wouldn't even answer me. What can you do to make us whole. This experience at best has been terrible.
Neil is an amazing sale person and can make the impossible happen. Corey was also amazing My whole experience there was fantastic I will definitely buy all my furniture from them for now on and Neil is definitely my salesman
